How to install Kontakt 8 PORTABLE.

1. Create an empty folder. The name of the folder itself and the path to it DO NOT SHOULD CONTENT KIRILLITS. Folder SHOULD BE ACCESSED FOR ZAPISI
(you cannot install in the Program Files folder).
2. Run the installer (KontaktPortable_v820.exe).
3. Press the Browse button ... and select the created blank folder.
4. Press the Extract button.
5. At the first launch of the Library Manager, automatic scanning of factory content, as well as already installed libraries (scanning in the register)
will be made.

At the end of the scan, you must save the changes and (re) start the Contact.
If the changes were not saved at the first start, then automatic scanning can be started at any time with a combination of Alt + Insert keys or from
the Manager's context menu:
ADD > quick search

By default, libraries are added only to the classic browser (with the exception of factory content not added to the classic browser).
This behavior can be changed in the settings of the Library Manager:
Libraries > Manage Libraries in a NKS browser

How to update the previous version of Kontakt 8 PORTABLE.

1. Run Instalator KontaktPortable_v820.exe
2. Press button Browse ... and select the folder in which the files of the previous Kontakt 8 PORTABLE installation are located.
3. Press button Extract
4. When a window appears Confirm file replaceconfirm file replacement (Click Yes to all)

Note: In version 8.2.0, a new type of midi effect is added: "patterns". To add them to the database and, accordingly, to the Contact browsers,
you need to start the Library Manager, press the SAVE button and restart the ContaCT.

How to add Kontakt 8 PORTABLE VST3 to DAW.

Method 1 (not suitable for all DAW):
Add the Kontakt8Portable \ Kontakt 8 \ x64 \ VST3 \ folder as an additional plugin scan folder. For details, refer to the manual (manual) of your DAW.

Launch Kontakt8Portable \ Install.exe
On the component selection page, check "Add VST3 plugin to DAW".
