Sadly. It seems that GTA doesn't find the sweet spot, I hope they'll do, I like this stuff very much & is very cpu friendly.

I'm afraid none of the suggested solutions works. And if the plugins are loaded and working, when the license check window pops, they stop working until you close the window. And after a minute, it pops again.

is theres an update on how to block it in the host file. the plugins can be use offline but onlne, the site will detect the .dat, can someone make it works online

Guys, in HOSTS file u need put not just chaos-audio-prod.eastus.cloudapp.azure.com.
Just put 127.0.0.1 chaos-audio-prod.eastus.cloudapp.azure.com and it works for me.

Try to make the OfflineData.dat read only.
When the plugin timebombs, it overwrites that file with an empty one which leads to asking for authorization on the next start. You also can make the RememberMeData.dat file read only for a test.

Those plugins are also very heavily trying to connect to the net. Everytime you're runniung one of then, they call home and even during the usage they try to. This behaviour could be patched easily but I currently don't have time for doing so.

yeah, it seems like it's easy to patch for you guys, but just look at more than 100 of files for all the formats of the plugins mono and stereo, I understand that it will take a lot of time for that. Not sure if it's worth it not.

they sound good and cpu usage won't go over 1% in my machine, the Daily Driver was 10/10 for me!

The calling home can be patched easily but it requires individual patching for every single plugin file as the calls are similar but the hex array isn't so creating a patcher wouldn't work.

And loading every of the ~150 plugin files into the debugger would take several hours for just the home calling part. A much faster way would be to implement R2R's wininet emulator but that's something only R2R should do.

Maybe in the future someone could patch them properly to work without a license file, for me they're not worth the time it takes.
I also don't like the ad-buttons for other plugins in their gui.

yeah understandable. too much plugin files. emulator should work but R2R is busy with cracking UAD and PT (lol, just kidding) they prolly busy or something. I hate the ad-button as well. that's just ass marketing.

...from my moronly blindness, I guess that GTA achieved the plugins to work in his machine. My suspect is that the "...remind me..." code is a son of his mac address, could it be?

yeah make sense. binding it to MAC address is common way of licensing these days.

...'cause, although my prod machine is offline since 3 months ago, Booster Stereo tries to call home after sniffs the machine's ids (according to DNSQuerySniffer). There's a nice "cristaline condition" in the overdrives of this bundle.
