now that I understand the SIP, which I have never disabled or thought about, I realize i will stick with my legit 12. I use Logic so cubase is basically a mid arrangement sketchpad for me.

Loading the Drum Track and clicking on the individual drum gives a spinning beach ball. No sound plays when hitting a pad. anyone experience this?

I hear you but, on windows before loading anything when you click on any drum symbol, the first pad plays a sound when you clicked a symbol. Basically the drum synth part is bugging out and no sound. M1 SONOMA 14.7.1

V.R changes some hex code ( patch ) of cubase pro 14 executable file
This monipulating might be make it ubstability , i dont know why everytime im asking from users for stability of V.R cubase version

I am not a hacker!
I mean those who use this version in Cubis 12 to 14 stable and with good performance?
In Windows, the r2r silk emulator team has created that by installing this emulator, you can install all Stiberg products directly and without manipulation.
In fact, no patch has been applied
You can even install the Steinberg download assistant program and download and install products
In general, this emulator is exactly a legal license engine
But in Mac it is not like that and programs are always manipulated
This causes instability
Although this is true in Windows, in some programs, plugins, and VSTs
But it is on my talk with Cubase
I remember Cubase 12 and 13, which crashed continuously when opening some plugins
And the situation was not always good, this version of V.R
In general, I know that the operating systems are completely different from each other and should not be expected to be equal

I have Cubase 13 Pro (license) on other machine and did not notice any outstanding difference in terms of stability. The licensed version crashes from third party VST3 just like the "modified" one. But let's assume you're right and this one is bad - what alternative do we have?

Some plugins that are cracked by unreliable crackers cause them to crash and become unstable after using them during a project.

Drum machine doesn't work .. it gives a spinning ball.. if you select one of the modules but if you open a preset it loads..(if you install the preset file from steinberg)

Man it works without SIP Disable !!!

No restart needed !

It took over an hour but because some errors occurred. My tipps:

- read the instruction from the sister site
- download all Apple Certificates here additionally:

https://developer.apple.com/certificationauthority/AppleWWDRCA.cer

https://www.apple.com/certificateauthority/AppleWWDRCAG4.cer

https://www.apple.com/certificateauthority/DeveloperIDG2CA.cer


Double click on each of them, prompt password if needed - that's it. No need to touch them. But you will need them.

About your own certificate with XCode:
After creation inside XCode is done, go to your keychain app, then:
- Pay attention if the certificate has RED written sentences. It probably is not trustworthy still !
- you need to set "trustworthy" on the small down arrow. BUT DON'T make "all" - use SYSTEM instead. Without this, it won't work !!!

Once done, do all the commands in the terminal.
- you don't need the "bash" and ''' ''' stuff, just leave it and type in the rest without that.
- If you need to enter your password 4-6 times when using deep sign with your own certificate, THEN you know you are doing everything right!

→ at this point, in the terminal, there should not be any errors or warnings. If so, you made something wrong! Check your keychain settings as explained above!

I read the instructions on AZ but I don't understand 2 things.

1-works on monterey?

2-Regarding the installation of Cubase of V.R, do I still have to follow the instructions first and then do the whole process of the certificates and the terminal?

This is a high detailed and easy to understand process in order to use Steinberg products without touching SIP (not even reboot). The process shows how to use it with Cubase Pro 14 but also shows how you can use it with any other Steinberg product.

I tried it with Cubase Pro 14 and Spectralayers.

Keep in mind that any legit Steinberg license most probably won't work. In my case, I had to download the Cubase Pro 13 release in order to apply the process to Cubase 13 and being able to open it again.

Tested on Macbook Pro ARM M2 Pro, Sequoia.
