Are there any new libraries the require this version yet? Generally I stay away from whole-number.zero versions until at least a .02 or .03.

Works brilliantly!!! Bob Dole for President! If you do exactly as it says, you're good. Most important is make sure that extra folder lives on the same drive as the library. Don't ask me why. So far 100%, it's super fast.

Anyone else notice that many official ninct libraries are not showing up in browser? I have two systems with the same libraries. Each one has some variance in what appears in K8. Less than 20 libraries are showing up, and I have more than 100. Meanwhile all my maschine expansions load fine.

All ninct still load fine in K7

Similar experience here, Stacks, Tina Guo, few others showing as missing and they're in their same location.

What's more, I registered the new Leap libraries, needed to relocate them, so re-registered them in their new location (as I have done for a few years now, using R2RKTMGR), now they too show as missing.

I always re-add my libraries (after upgrade Kontakt) through the old "Add Library.exe" tool. If u've installed the R2R Kontakt Manager also is possibly a SNPIDs conflict, d'ya have a SNPIDs list of your libraries to check?

I don't use unofficial libraries whatsoever. They all use their official SNPID.

In the NativeAccess.xml (you can find their three character values by open NativeAccess.xml through Notepad++), however I can re-add libraries changing their values through NI-NicntGenerator.exe, in case of any or several libraries hides from Kontakt, something that could happen when upgrading Kontakt ('cause reasons that I -sincerely- not always understand). That's way I find useful to have a list of my libraries SNIPDs, and their modified values if some of these needed to be modified.

Try deleting the C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products folder, running Kontakt Button again, and restarting Kontakt

Thanks bobdule. Some of my libraries are shown missing. Remove library registry and add again dosen't work. I think it's a typical NI thing.

Hope it gets fixed. Spended hours editing registry for the libraries showing up as missed but nothing worked.

Both with original NICNT and user created NICNT.

You need to backup and delete the json files in the following directory:
"C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products".

When you relaunch Kontakt 8, it should instantly re-add new versions of those files and start updating in the Kontakt interface quickly.

So...when I try the library manager in 7 Bob's marvelous little tool use to pop up to add a new library. With this release Native Access starts up. Is that supposed to happen? I've stopped it so it wont put my libraries in demo mode.

Kontakt Button is located there. It's not programmed into Kontakt but it's a button by itself.
