The models from weights.gg will also work in the colab. I’m not sure which one you are using.

Well, I installed the program, downloaded everything I needed, about 5GB, but it gives me an error when trying to convert an audio.

Error creating song: CUDA error: no kernel image is available for execution on the device Compile with `TORCH_USE_CUDA_DSA` to enable device-side assertions.

Edit: Look below in the 'Settings,' I found the option to switch to 'CPU,' and it worked, although it takes too long. A 5-second fragment takes about 3 minutes, and it maxes out both the CPU and RAM at 100%. I understand that my PC is old, so I assumed either it wouldn't work or would be very slow. If you know how to fix the CUDA error, that would be good, although I think it might be related to PyTorch and my graphics card version not being compatible. I once downloaded code that required compilation, a real hassle. Anyway, having said that, I downloaded the Paul McCartney model, and it sounds good, normal like others I've heard. The interface is very good; the design is really nice. However, it's very slow, and it keeps showing 'connecting to the server' and takes quite a while. What I can't find is the option to train a model; is it only for conversion? I thought it had the option to train.

Will fix the bug. You can select render to be cpu under settings for the time being. It should fix your issue.

It works remarkably well and with little effort. Some voice models aren't good but a little work produces "almost convincing results"
I'll put an original track up over on the sister site as an example.

You know what, I take that back. As of the latest update, the app will no longer work properly without a blocked internet connection in TinyWall. Fucking worthless.

edit: restricting to local network in TinyWall still seems to work.

I don't support insults, but perhaps I can understand the frustration behind that person. It's appreciated that you're developing a free app, but you do need users to advance it. For instance, yesterday I felt frustrated and could say I was at least a bit annoyed (I'm generally a very calm person). Even though I asked you if the app would work after describing my PC specs, when I tried to convert a voice, I got a CUDA error. The only option I found was to switch to CPU, but then the CPU and RAM are maxed out at 100%, taking several minutes to convert a short audio clip. Additionally, it constantly says 'connected to the server,' so I ended up using my mobile data since it's more convenient to use Colab. After reading my PC specifications, you told me it would be faster than Colab. In the end, it's good to find free apps, there are many here (not AI-related). But people tend to use what they know or have more information about. In conclusion, I would overlook the 'insult' from this person and consider the issue they mentioned to improve my free app if I were you. Regards.

We push updates daily. sometimes multiple times daily. Errors are being fixed as soon as we get them.

I posted on here first because this and sister was the first community I found when I started making music and I wanted to give back to it.

My hope was to have you all help fix bugs and make this FREE app the best it can be!

In the past many free apps have turned out to contain some unfolded purposes (e.g. coin mining). So when a free app requires internet connection to operate and many things are not clear about the project, including the quality of the results, it leaves a bad impression.

I can't imagine a plugin or virtual instrument to be released without the developer providing some convincing demos. And we are left with the message: download it and try it out by your own.

No, that's not the case at all. I have loved AZ and AS since before becoming a member in 2015. My intention was simply to offer a solution to a problem as a way of giving back to everyone.

I'm beginning to recognize the inner demons and lack of etiquette that some people exhibit in these communities.

In the past, I would encounter this type of energy in other posts and simply overlook it. However, when it involves something I'm personally building, it shifts my perspective on the inner psychology and projection of privilege on here.

have you considered that this isn't a company and its just a developer making an app? have you considered that we have many bugs coming in all the time from thousands of users?

You know, the fact that you get upset or indignant about what they comment here speaks well of you, that is to say, when someone is interested in taking advantage of something, they are hypocritical and nothing bothers them, because their goal is to obtain 'that something up their sleeve,' which many here might think is free because surely... I appreciate you! try 1.9.1 if you haven't.. Sometimes CUDA errors happen when settings get shifted or models load weird. Try to do a full restart of the app or your computer. This might fix it.

I hoped to have some fun with this app, but sadly a recurring error prevent me to use it. Test on demo file is OK and looks promising but the app is unable to stem any music without crashing its engine :(

1.9.1 version is available now, but no luck, same result.
