I did not download from this, but the magnet works. Make sure you have a torrent client that is set up to launch magnets.. then just fire that in a browser and it should auto-open in your torrent client.

So everything is fine with one exception on my system. Somehow the OB-Xa is installed as OP-Xa. I have gone through the installation folder and renamed the files I found labeled as OP, but it still doesn't load. I am not great at messing with the registry, but I am guessing it has something to do with a registry entry. Anyone else notice this?

SOLVED! Rename the vst file as well as all files in the OP-Xa folder that are labeled incorrectly (I installed these in the common files folder, but this is the file path you pick when you install)

Interestingly, it looks like Arturia has changed the name of this synth to "OP-Xa" in v9 collection.. not a V.R thing, just FYI. The synth even has OP-Xa "stamped" on it in the top left.

I hope that Arturia hasnt done what they did last time when they updated some synths (Jup-8 for example) and made them in a way that some 3rd party libraries for Jup-8 v3 didnt work on Jup-8 v4 (I still have 2 good 3rd party libraries that don't work), So Im hoping that the update of Prophet-5, etc, doesn't have the same problems with 3rd party libraries for the previous version not working. on the new version
Edit - Answered my own question - I lost quite a few Third Party Bank Libraries & Presets that used to work in the older versions of CS-80 & Prophet-5 (just like what happened with the last new version of JUP-8)

If anyone can convert or know how to convert the previous CS-80, Prophet-5, and JUP-8 presets please let me know (and there will be free presets for you:) :)

Installed new key and synth collections 2022.5, augmented strings and voives, sound banks 2022.5.

Analog lab 5.5.0 still ask for updated versions of this instruments for visualize interface in edit mode:
ARP 2600 V3
Farfisa V
Matrix-12 V2
Modula V3
Synclavier V
Wurli V2

Even if "include legacy sounds" is not flagged, at least some preset request legacy version of Stage-73 V if i try to open edit mode (E.G the preset "113 Road").

Some crash appen too: e.g. if from "multi" instruments list i chose the "cinema layer" preset the stand alone Analog Lab crash and close. The same choice in the plugin version of Analog Lab crash and close cubase.

Can you try and confirm the issues? Or i've messed something?

Tx for the feedback. I think the instruments are not all updated to the latest release, and the ones in the list are too old for the last analog lab edit function.
Maybe a new release of the v9 collection will solve this.

What about the crashes? You too experienced the issue? I'm trying to understand if is due to some mistake in my install over an installed one, an issue of the release, or an not updated instruments.

I kept of a copy of the old VST Folder on the desktop to compare and ALL the instruments have been updated (including the ones that don't open) but maybe they need to be updated again. it would be interesting to know if a Legit User has the same problem and what versions their 'unopening in Analog Lab' instruments are.

I haven't experienced any crashes yet, but I haven't used it a lot yet either.

Well, I went to check that preset, and although I have 32,397 Presets in Analog Lab, I don't have one called 'cinema layer' (are you sure that's not a preset leftover from the previous version of CS-80 or Prophet-5 or JUP-8 as those dont work in Analog Lab V with the updated instruments (I dont have legacy presets switched on))

For the Arturia synth package, the VST3 plugins don't work, the vst2 ones go without problems. But I prefer the VST3 versions. I think the package needs a fix. I tried to install it several times, always with the same result :(

Did Arturia change the bloated installation with gazillions of bitmaps and registry entries for these bitmaps for Windows? Or is it still the same? I think it must be the same when I see the size of the package. More bitmaps than the size of the samples :DDD

Somehow Ableton doesn't seem to recognize a couple of specific VST2 dll files. They are all in the same folder but these ones simply don't show up:

CS-80
MS-20
OP-Xa
Prophet 5
Prophet VS

Anyone know what's happening here?

two of them also have xml issues with the start up and won't even load properly?

this worked on windows 10, but doesn't want to know on windows 11?
