yeah tried this as well, can confirm it didn't work for me as well
It makes no sense to say you’re not good at it. It’s like saying, “I’m not good at being a monk.” You are either living as a monk or you’re not.

In the Superior Drummer 3 Operation Manual.pdf, there was a page that describes how to add 3rd party MIDI files to SD3.
(From page 75) [ADDING MIDI CONTENT AND THE USER MIDI FOLDER]
In previous versions, it was possible to display 3rd party MIDI files in the browser without doing this, so
Did the specifications change from v3.2.5?

For some reason, SD3 3.2.5 insists on having user midi in the Users\user\Documents\Toontrack\EZDrummer\User Midi folder.

If your User Midi content is somewhere else, you can make this work (in Windows) as follows:
1) Create a shortcut for that User Midi folder where you have your Groove Monkey etc stuff.
2) Move this User Midi.lnk shortcut to the Users\user\Documents\Toontrack\EZDrummer\ folder. You can either keep or delete the existing, empty User Midi directory, it doesn't matter.
3) Open standalone SD3 3.2.5
4) Select "Grooves"
5) Select under "Options" (in top left corner) > "User Midi and Linked Folders" > "Add Linked Folder" and point to your "User Midi.lnk shortcut
6) Wait for SD3 to find and add the User Midi content. In my case some 92000 files...
7) Quit and reopen standalone SD3
8) Under "Grooves", scroll all the way down and you'll find all your User Midi under the newly added "Linked Folders"

If you don't mind putting / moving all your User Midi into your documents folder, then that should work as well, they will then appear under "Grooves" > " User Libraries". But many people might have stored this somewhere else, perhaps on a different drive. In this case it hardly makes sense to move everything and clog up your C#drive...

Cheers, and thank you VR!

DO NOT INSTALL THIS unless you want to ruin your previous install and screw up your personal and 3rd party midi files.

Read the other comments before using this.

If it is truly broken I'm surprised there hasn't been a corrected share by now.

Looks like there is a new SD3 release on the Toontrack site, 3.2.6, that reverses this stupid change for third party midi. Guess they got enough "feedback" LOL
So I guess we just have to wait for it to show up at some point. Not Vr's doing as I suspected.

Grooves Tab

Third-party MIDI located in the Toontrack MIDI folder is yet again shown and formatted in the browser like Toontrack MIDI (reverts a change in 3.2.5).
Peace all
