probably there are different prices and packages for ilok, e-licenser...
that's why a fully implemented ilok2 nexus 2.x hasn't been cracked (i should say ..yet), and other apps like waldorf, like their latest vsti Nave, must use a light version of e-licenser, that's why it was cracked as well.

i imagine steinberg must not be really tender with those companies, regarding prices, etc.
it must be "you take elicenser, you pay us 40 or 50% of your sales, otherwise, you will get cracked and your sales will stale"... which doesn't give a lot of options to some companies, that end up picking the cheapest model... the model that doesn't use 100% of e-licenser protection, like in cubase, and still end up being cracked...


i don't know... we all know it takes tons of man-hours to defeat some protections, like Gouda from Air team...
it's been a long time now... like almost 6 years...

i have a feeling... i have a strange feeling something huge is being done... something that will shake some companies that provide those dongle-based protections, and those companies, that shit on customers, i mean, walking wallets/sheep, that use those protections...

i have a feeling this 6 yo silence.... is just too silent, for my taste.
what a man does, another man can defeat, copy, close, reverse, etc. IT's just a matter of time.

copy protections evolve...but so do the tools... and coders.
every week, another great coder pops up, on the scene. just look at all the softs that Hexwars have cracked, in just a few months. it's huge.

elicenser, there aren't a lot of people using it. and it looks like the mcfacts, when fully implemented, must be really hard to defeat.
but... ilok, ilok2, ilok35... there are a fucktone of companies using it, from slate digital, motu, flux, and many many others.
but this ilok thing, it looks like it is a really crap, that could end up being cracked, one day or another. the way they implement it, all the bugs it has, like deleting licenses from dongles, randomly, etc etc, it looks like that thing is really badly coded, and so far, only luck could protect it, and not let the system be cracked. but i feel like it's a matter of a few months.


omnisphere 2 must be using some really heavy complex copy protection. omnisphere 1 had , i think, a 512bit certificate, that someone was able to put his hands on, and that way, it could be cracked very easily. i guess omnisphere 2 has a ton of security layers.

right now, i'm saving to buy it. it should be on top 3 best vstis ever, with almost unlimited possibilities, + now, the extra 400 waveforms, unlike the 3 or 4 sin, square, tri, from omnisphere 1, + many other things, this thing could be one of the 2-3 virtual synths we need, for the next 5 years.

i wonder when we will log in, here, and see a new post "omnisphere 2.r2r". i think if someone cracks omnisphere 2, i am sure we won't be really really far from cracking ilok.

I almost erased my hackintosh partition, but it is still there.

On the other side, some products are windows scene only (like old Nexus 2 i use for industrial).
Always nice to see scene surprises, even if i don't use those releases :D

For the "libstdc", open your finder --> Go --> Go to Folder and insert /usr/lib/ --> Paste the file.
Et voilà .
