I did a master class with Michael Brauer, easily one of the most creative mixers ever to lay hands on a console. He told me he wanted me to stop thinking of compression as dynamics control and start thinking of it as a form of movement.

UBK-1 is most definitely the result of taking that advice. I have way too much fun with its squishy mojo, the way it aggressively smacks sounds back into place, making them pump and move like living things.

Not every sound needs to be blown up, so I use the multiple parallel paths for subtle warming and sweetening effects. The headroom knob lets me adjust every stage's intensity at once, making it enjoyable to experiment with all the colors it has to offer... and the UBK-1 has a lot of colors to offer.

WARNING!!!: Before doing anything, make sure you do a backup of your lib

- Replace original lib at /usr/lib/ with provided lib for your OS

Honestly don't know. Don't know if libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib has been changed form 10.10.2 to 10.10.3 (but as you can see the modified dylib says 10.10.2). And on my 10.10.3 the plug says not authorized.

Thanx alot to openssh for this valuable release.
I report my issue on 10.8.5: 64bit version of the plugin work like charm, but 32bit version not. It asks for ilok auth and crash Live, logic and Protools 10.3.10 with Patchwork.
If no working 32bit version AU or Vst, no chance for PT 10.
I correctly replace the lib in usr/lib and also applied the optional PT10.3.10_fix_for_fusionunsupport (Someone know what's the fusionsupport?).
Repair permission don't solve...

What version you have tested?
Openssh is a big and offers a service for the comunity, than, please, try to contribute with more proper technical posts.

Now we know this release don't work for 32bit system.
Just try jBridge and/or Metaplugin to load it into PT.

I followed all instructions, but when I use the plugin in Ableton live it asks for installion for Pace lok, and then says it wants to take me to a website, when i choose ignore i crashes Ableton.

Im running 9.1.7, and OS 10.8.5.

So i cant get it to work.

For everyone using mac OSX here is how you get to the path usr/lib/:

1. go to terminal and type sudo mkdir /usr/local/lib
2.enter your password
3.in finder>go to folder> type usr/lib/

any of you that are havin' problems with your computers... you should have been more cautious.

I was goin to install this stuff, but, I have never heard of openshh... and all of a sudden he/she/they releasin iLok cracked warez.

Not takin a chance on this until a year has gone by and people running it ok... maybe year not long enough.

... the crack seems to work so good job, it comes at a price though. Some other apps and plugs that rely on the original lib won't work any more. For those who are really stuck after repairing the lib file: Get a hold of the original lib. Boot into recovery mode by pressing alt at boot. Temporarily turn on hidden files and folders. Return the lib to its original location; /usr/lib. Delete the now obsolete plugs. Reboot.

But how to solve the Adobe Audition issue? It doesnt work with the modified dylib file.

@Teletoby - it's either the cracked plugs with the modified lib and no Audition and a few others or non of the Softubes and Kushs' and everything else working as it should with the original lib.
