What to do if DAW is opened natively

0. copy into the terminal

sudo spctl --master-disable

1. INSTALL - Pulsar Audio Primavera

What do you mean by "DAW is opened natively" regarding VST3 is opened in Patchwork, which is technically not a native procedure?

Для того, чтобы открыть этот x64 vst3 в Patchwork, сам плагин Patchwork тоже должен быть x64. Поэтому из него нужно удалить часть кода, которая отвечает за Arm64. Это только для AU версии, с его vst3 версией делать это нету смысла.
Если бы плагин изначально был в формате AU и он также был с архитектурой x64, то из Patchwork можно было бы не удалять архитектуру arm64.
Ваша DAW сама переконвертирует x64 версию Patchwork, вы можете запускать свою DAW нативно.
Этот способ только для AU версии Patchwork, через который открывается x64 VST3.
Если у вас не работает, значит что-то сделали не правильно, команды создают папку, меняют разрешение и удаляют arm64 код из плагина Patchwork.

Этот патченный плагин не требует ilok, разумеется ты должен скачать его отсюда, а не с официального сайта.

Плагин выдает ошибку при открытие потому что не может создать папку Primavera.
Её можно создать там самому, или поправить разрешение для папки Pulsar, сделать её не системной, а владелцем текущего пользователя.
Эти 2 команды делают это
sudo mkdir -p ~/Library/Application\ Support/Pulsar/Primavera
sudo chown -R ${USER} ~/Library/Application\ Support/Pulsar

Если ты запускаешь свою DAW нативно, тебе нужен Patchwork. Тебе потребуется из его AU формата удалить arm64 архитектуру, тогда ты сможешь… открыть DAW нативно, она увидит AUx64 версию Patchwork и через него ты откроешь VST3x64 версию Primavera.

Не какой ilok патченая версия Primavera не просит

Ok I'm not sure it's the way I'm supposed to do it but it's working with loading the vst 3 through the bc patchwork... :D
I followed various steps written in the comments...
I would've prefered to use it directly in AU format without the bc patchwork but at least it's working now... So I can't really complain.

uninstalled vst3/Bitwig intel not playing ball after much faffing around

Update: followed Sanysany's instructions above and now the vst is working in Bitwig nice one, even without the patchworks.

When I try codesign on Big Sur I get this

/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/codesign_allocate: fatal error: file not in an order that can be processed (link edit information does not fill the __LINKEDIT segment): /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Pulsar/Pulsar Primavera.vst3/Contents/MacOS/Pulsar Primavera
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Pulsar/Pulsar Primavera.vst3: the codesign_allocate helper tool cannot be found or used


No issues codesigning other plugins and I updated command line tools just to be sure.


I was hoping to just be able to use it without patchwork but it does work using that it just doesnt show up in Studio One.


Is this patchwork only? has anyone anyone else managed to codesign it and run it without patchwork on intel mac.


Any advice would be appreciated.

На компьютерах Intel Mac Patchwork не нужен, только если ваша DAW не понимает формат vst 3, например LOGIC. В этом случае вы используете au-версию Patchwork, чтобы открыть vst3 через него. Вы также можете использовать плагин waves studiorack.

My Daw S1 reads vst3 but it doesnt show up in S1 I've updated my mac to Sonoma I needed to anyway and I managed to codesign but it still doesnt show up even after restart. Not sure what else can be done here is anyone else having this experience?

Это "пропатченная" vst3(x86_64) версия плагина, этот плагин для архитектуры Intel, если ваша DAW работает с форматом vst3, вам не нужен никакой Patchwork или подобный плагин.
Он понадобится вам только в других DAW, которые не понимают формат vst3 и на ARM mac, если ваша DAW открыта нативно.
Отключите "gatekeeper" и просто установите этот .pkg.

sudo spctl --master-disable

При первом запуске плагина он не сможет создать директорию из-за прав доступа к папке Pulsar, просто введите команды.

sudo mkdir -p ~/Library/Application\ Support/Pulsar/Primavera
sudo chown -R ${USER} ~/Library/Application\ Support/Pulsar

Если по какой-то дополнительной причине DAW не видит плагин, сделайте « de-quarantine»
В скрипте установщика "post install", вероятно, есть команды "de-quarantine" и "codesign", это легко увидеть через Pacifist.app.
Однако вы можете сделать "de-quarantine" и "codesign" самостоятельно. Перезагрузка. Пересканируйте плагины заново если потребуется.
Вам не нужен Patchwork или аналогичный плагин на Intel маке, если ваша Daw работает с vst3.
