Works fine for me on macOS Big Sur, Logic Pro 10.7.1 and legit pro tools (in logic I had to rescan all my plugins for EV2 to appear)

In the upawg.ca is listed the release

Waves.Complete.v2021.11.15.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-RET

According to the release name, version for Windows.

But the release in these post is for OSX.

Which version is correct? The release listed in upawg.ca is NUKED?

Gordonz, have you tried it in Logic? Are you sure your host is running Native ARM? Because for me and many others on M1, it seems to run only under Rosetta. I've tried multiple hosts, all with the same result. Intel is fine (or forced Rosetta), but ARM is a no go. I did a clean install, I've cosigned, restarted, and quarantined...all the usual fixes.

EDIT: It DOES work, apparently I didn't do a sufficient cleanup before installing! See below comment for more info.

it shows arm64 on info window.

but there is an issue with localserver file . first time i opened a waves plugin it was so fast loading plugin menus were fast. but after some time loading times were slow and lagging
completely due to localserver.bundle. when i removed it from that directory all were normal hope this helps someone.

There is an installation guide on sister site called waves v12 installation on big sur. Try it.

I was WRONG. It actually works under Big Sur Natively, if you do a really thorough cleanup before installing. I thought I'd been thorough enough, by doing a removal through Waves Central and then manually deleting all the debris left over, but it wasn't enough.

Setup: MBP M1, Big Sur 11.6.1 running Logic in native mode.

Activity Monitor shows AUHostingService (Logic Pro) instead of AUHostingCompabilityService (Logic Pro)

1.if you have already installed waves go to central and perform a complete waves cleanup.

2.delete all waves folders in following locations (if available).

Library>Application Support>Waves(unhidden)
Library>Audio>Plugins>WPAPI(sometimes this thing is left after uninstall)
~Libarary>Application Support>Waves Audio and Waves Central(hidden)
Macintosh HD>Users>Shared>Waves

*Also make sure that all vst/vst3/au/aax waveshell plugins are removed.

3.download latest waves v13 release by ret.

4.extract and install waves central.

5.perform an offline installation by choosing plugins you like to install.

6.replace WavesLicenseEngine.bundle in Library>Application Support>Waves>Modules

7.open terminal and paste following commands,

xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

8.run waves keygen on a windows pc or with crossover.

9.find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.

10.copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses

11.restart your mac first and run waves au reg utility and click let's go, it will identify your plugins.

12.open your daw it will automatically scan plugins, if not rescan plugins manually.

Works just fine for me. Logic 10.7 - M1 Mac. The key for me was codesigner and restarting my mac. After I did that Logic scanned the plugs and they all loaded fine.

You know why all plugins mono ( for exemple SSL Channel (m) ) not works ? When I try open it in Logic Pro I have a message with "Unable to load Audio Unit "J37 (m)". Contact its publisher for an updated version or additional support." :( it's normal ? Thank you !

Cubase Mac isn't ARM native yet so it only loads rosetta plugins. Other people have reported this as working for rosetta. I would make sure you've done all the codesign and permissions properly because I bet that's your problem.

The plugins load up faster, but yet there is still no GUI. I installed Waves version 12 because I'm using High Sierra 10.13.6 on a MacBook Pro 17" Mid 2010....
So why is there no GUI? Someone please help. I just moved back to Mac & I'm in love with my computer again!
