This would imply that Kontakt has not been patched successfully.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

i input the commands into terminal then dropped the patch in there and it workd.. what could i be doing wrong? thank you for your help

Tested and working in Mojave
Installed it and applied the patch

The patch I guess is the same as typing in terminal

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Kontakt.component/Contents/MacOS/Kontakt

And
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Native\ Instruments/Kontakt/Kontakt.app

Am I wrong?

Btw, anybody tried it with Komplete Kontrol? When running NI libraries through it they show up as demo. However they work fine in Kontakt plugin or standalone. This happened to me since 6.4.0 because .vst wasn’t patched but what about this one?

Hi. Working as Kotakt player and libraries are in Demo mode. Can't open in any way the patcher.command file. Any help?

Anyone know a fail-safe way to add libraries? I'm using 5.60 for that and some libraries are added, but do not show up in the library for access.

idk but i had this same problem and the fix for me was to install Native Access. Now all my libraries appear.

Hi all!
Installed OK on Catalina (latest) with instruction from @tooloud. Thanks my friend!
But trying to get Shared Libraries working is weird.
Loading individual instruments of some libraries allows access to all of the other NKI's in that Library. No problem - the developer's interface comes up and ..it works
Others I try to load go into DEMO Mode with muted Output. Some of them have an interface that is missing graphics etc.
It seems those that do that (demo mode) have a .ninct in the folder.......

So (I have done lots of looking here and at sister forum) does that mean I need to install the 5.6 version for them to be read at all?
Can I DL a version from the NI site itself or K'd version only?

Some of the libraries I mentioned that work are "Full version required" and they load ok - so what am I missing? There was an official Player version installed prior to this 6.4.2 I installed.

I have Native Access for updates of other NI programs and I'm not sure if this could get part of the issue.
Should I block it with little snitch?

-Info screen showing "full license" .
-Able to locate the service center folder -there are no .xml files from these Libraries because they haven't been installed.
I should still be able to open the individual instruments -but they still show up as "demo".

Reinstall kontakt?
Would this overwrite some permissions that got locked when service center connected to NI?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled kontakt. doesnt seem to fix anything - still having issues

People may not be putting in a space after the chmod u+x command. I struggled with this and then realised what the problem had been, hope this helps someone!

According to NI Kontakt 5 is no longer supported in catalina! How do we add libraries then?

Hello Everyone,
I've been having great fun doing all the amazing voodoo (to me at least) Terminal commands in the very-helpful posts above, and I've 'fixed' all the problems I encountered. But, while the stand-alone version is now patched, the plug-in version is still in demo mode. I'm stumped.
I'm on ProTools and Catalina. All and any help would be hugely appreciated
