Cannot open the patcher on Catalina, says

The file “patcher.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges.

To view or change access privileges, select the file in the Finder and choose File > Get Info.

Paste "chmod u+x" to terminal and then drag and drop the "patcher.command", Hit enter, now open the patcher it should work

i did this and it installed great but now 3rd party libraries load in demo version and dont work - any idea how to fix this? ive uninstalled completely and reinstalled again same issue

I tried to Codedesign and this is the error I'm getting..

It means you have to download Command Line Tools for Mac before you can codesign anything. Google it.

I don't have Kontakt 5 but I saved all of my Service Center XML's and Preferences plist files for each of my libraries from a previous install. If you have those files and don't want to use an old version of Kontakt to install them going forward just drop those backed up plists and xml's into the appropriate folders and your libraries are installed. You may need to relocate the libraries once you open Kontakt for the first time. If you need to install a new library you can create the xml and plist files manually and drop those in as well. Just use a plist and xml from another installed library and you can get the new information from your new library's nicnt file. Once you open those files you will see what I mean and which values you need to change. It's all just copy and paste the appropriate values. I just successfully installed the Elysium library using this method. If you don't have any xml or plist files from a previous install you probably have to use an older version of kontakt to install them or figure out how to create all of those plist and xml files from scratch.

Yes. There is no return of the Add Library button since 5.8.1 or whatever it was.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

I was just about to chime in and say, I hope somehow someway the new Maschine will also be released. Sorry to ask but what big changes were made that are making the newest Mac updates so difficult for teams? They used to seem to come out like clockwork, after being released by NI.
