Since the day Apple moved to the Audio Unit format users have been forced to view an illogical list of manufacturers and developers names when trying to access their plugins.
Not anymore. Now you can organise and view your Audio Units the way you desire in Logic, Garageband, Main Stage with support also for Ableton Live, Maschine and other AU hosts.

Finally! Organise your Audio Units the way YOU want.

Not anymore. Now you can organise and view your Audio Units the way you desire in Logic, Garageband, Main Stage with support also for Ableton Live, Maschine and other AU hosts.

You can now change the developer/manufacturer name and use a much more logical workflow orientated layout. You could, for instance, arrange by the type of effect, and we even allow you to go further by making multi layers with sub folders. This gives you the ability to create hierarchies such as; "Compressor > Multi-band" and "Compressor > Single-band", so you have full control over how YOU want your plugins organized. Further more ALL your changes are compatible with old projects. You can even import/export and revert settings at the start or end of any individual sessions, 100% compatibility!]

INSTRUCTIONS

quote by roguebondYou obviously have never used NI Maschine. Haha
I have a SHIT TON of plugins. Albeit, I don't use half of them. But I like the option of having them. Maschine sucks big black donkey balls as far as organization of plugins goes. There are no sub folders with master directories for each plugin company. Only a gigantic list of the plugin names. They even mix the instruments with the fx. Can you imagine how fucking frustrating this is when you are looking for a specific plugin. "Just write some music"???
Very difficult when you are scrolling through countless fucking plugins not knowing what is what. So, this is a very useful tool. Sorry.....PRICELESS!!! I love writing music in Maschine because of the workflow. But the organization of plugins sets you back 100 steps in workflow. If this thing works, it is my dream come true. Know your facts before you spout senseless shit into the void.

Let me know how it is with Maschine Rogue.
I'll be interested to find out if this sorts out the plug in organization problems.
I agree Maschine set up is a pain in the arse for plug in organization.
Cheers buddy

I sure will. I'm really hoping this solves the Maschine issue. I am a super busy electric saw and gas saw cutter by trade and it takes up close to 80 hours out of my week. Once I find the patience to sort this all out, I will update you as soon as I can. I really hope this works so I can keep my focus on the music and not trying to find my plugins of choice for special and cool effects which, to me, make creating music even funner and more expressive. Kind of the point of making music. Be in touch.

I didn't succeed to make it work in Machine, my AU list is still .... long... even after rescanning AU folders etc... : (

This is awesome!

I never realized how annoying this was in Logic until just now!

It's all bout the workflow.

Hey, i switched from FL to Logic Pro X recently and i find the Sample Library very confusing.
It would be much better if the loops tab where all the samples are stored is organized like the library tab where all the instruments are in logic. Any way to do this?

Wrong place for this type of question I think, but I'll save you the hassle of going elsewhere.

No you can't reorganise your Apple Loops folder in that way exactly, but if you drag any apple loops onto the loop browser it will ask you if you want to move them to the apple loops folder or keep in their current location and just point the browser to the loops.

If you do the second option it pops up in a list above the loops so if your original folders are labelled as...hip hop breaks, flute loops etc They will have the same names there, so you can label them as whatever is appropriate. What you can't do is have sub folders. The loops from within those folders will still show up in the overall list and search menu of loops.

After a few test and re installs it seems that this is locked into a demo mode as it only lets you rename 12 plugins and only the list that come up in blue the rest are greyed out and that box pops up after each attempt to rename something
