I copied the "bias" files into the correct locations within the plugins. The keygen seems as if it is creating a license file in the Terminal but I can't find it anywhere. Any ideas?

You need to open the Terminal "IN" the Egg file.
Right Click on the Egg keygen folder> Services>New terminal at folder
And you can grab the keygen an Run me on this terminal.
And now, the terminal can find the plugins.

If you don't find "Services" when you right click, you need to activate it:
Preference system>keyboard>Shortcut>Services (on the left)> active "New terminal at folder

I tried my self to install Bias 1.1.3 once again without substitute the executables that, all trough, are the old ones, and I managed to authorize it anyway

Therefore, AAX users, enjoy !

Here, once for all, a simplified way to authorize Bias:

1 ) install Bias from dmg
2 ) run Bias once and quit (needed to create support files or the auth will fail)
3 ) repair permissions for RunMe.sh and KeyGen and put them on Desktop
4 ) fire up Terminal app and drag both RunMe and KeyGen on it
5 ) hit Enter key
6 ) follow the admin password request
7 ) hit enter again (twice)
8 ) done

I've made your Step and this is what I have:

-In PT11, Bias is still in "license tier demo" in the App information.

Do you open the terminal in Utilitary?
If I drag both RunMe and Keygen, I have this:

But, if I open terminal in the Egg folder and I drag the 2 files, all plugins (RTAS,AU,VST) become "License professional" except AAX become buggy.

The procedure that worked here for the AAX is to apply the Egg patches. At that point if you try using the AAX for instance in PT11, it will flag it saying it is not a legit AAX plugin. However, if you then rerun the 1.1.3.495.dmg it will then work and the License Tier will still remain at the Professional version.

After patch, AU,RTAS, VST are professional license and AAX buggy.
Then, if I reinstall with the dmg like you said, all licenses return in demo...
I don't understand your procedure...

Sounds like the Egg patches aren't being applied correctly because mine stick with the reinstall. You shouldn't be getting any errors like you mentioned above.

Managed to get the crack sorted. - many thanks for all the advice!
Would really like to try some of the presets as starting points though. Any idea how to do that?
I made up a sign in but its just for Positive Grid and I can't find a way to access the ToneCloud.
Any ideas?
Or would someone mind upping the presets?

Warning Folks! Positive Grid has just released the Strandberg Allan Marcus Presets for BIAS. When you go to load them if will force this Desktop version back into demo mode. If you apply the crack again and try to load any of these new presets a window will pop up saying Incompatible version. The preset you are trying to load requires newer version of Bias. Be warned! Note: That your older saved presets will still work just not the new Strandberg ones!

I can not get it authorized. Installed Hewarx version and this one following all procedures but always in demo mode.

Had cleaned all Bias files from the computer after having installed Hexwarx version and prior installing this one, but no luck... What am I doing wrong?

improbably in the minority here but im on a hackintosh (hich might be the problem) but when the keygen starts to look for my mac address it fails and i get
"GetMACAddress returned 0x00000005
Error ---Get Mac failed!"

anyone know what to do?

Do you have a network card? If you don't have one you can't authorize this and many other C/R protected plugs.
Even legit.

yes i have both wireless and wired cards.... tried changing my drivers too see if it would change anything and nope... still stuck

In Terminal, run this command (copy paste in terminal, hit enter):
ifconfig en0 | grep -i eth
If it doesn't return the address, for some reason it is not reporting en0 ethernet MACaddress
correctly or it is set-up in some weird way, sorry I don't know hackintoshes at all
(for now, soon I will ).

What finally worked for me: Mtn Lion, Pro Tools 12
1. Run the .pkg
2. Launch PT or other DAW
3. Load the plug-in (it will be in demo mode)
4. Quit Pro Tools or other DAW
5. Copy/Replace the plug-ins from the Egg Keygen folder TO the appropriate OSX plug-in folders (AAX, VST etc)

6. Run Batchmod on the Egg Keygen folder
7. Run the Egg Keygen folder in Terminal (right click the folder and choose New Terminal at folder This is KEY - Thanks Jay Jay
If you don't find "Services" when you right click, you need to activate it:
Preference system>keyboard>Shortcut>Services (on the left)> active "New terminal at folder

8. Once in Terminal, press enter, and enter your password. Press enter a couple times more to make sure the task is finished and quit Terminal.

All other suggestions failed for me with Terminal until I was asked for my password. It wasn't enough to run the script or copy the script and Keygen files to Terminal even when it said it worked etc.

9. I'm using BlueCat Patchworks, so I launched PT again loaded Patchworks and both VST and AU versions were now in "Professional" License Tier.

AAX plugin failed to load, but Standalone's suggestion worked (thanks for that). Quit PT, re-run the .pkg and quit.

No more Terminal or replacing AAX plug-ins. Re-launch PT, load the AAX version and it works. The VST and AU still work as well!

This was all a bit confusing but these steps worked for me.
