Hi,
Does not seem to work under Logic X after having been converted.

I've copied the plug into HD:/Library... and USER:/Library...

Not detected by Logic

Knowing all this, I repurposed an older machine with 32Lives (somehow I got it running on an old G5 PPC tower ), and I am currently using it to mine for bitcoins... 32Lives can do almost anything, including opening up old sessions from Opcodes StudioVision Pro on OS9 into LogicX.... Much value indeed!!!

It's like the Chuck Norris of apps!

YES! wow great. and yes use blue cat audio patchwork or something for work with Logic. great to see this release. long time nebula user here. and i can concur this is stage three of a tape / saturation / compression combo. cdsoundmaster hast the nebula AND vst versions for all those stages. so either go nebula or hope a wait if someone pops up with the other stages too. trust me they sound great.

Has anyone tried their VST to AU manger with this one yet? in Logic? Is it even for this plug? Doesn't say so on their web site.

edit: there readme says:
Open the “VSTAU_Manager” and it will automatically scan your vst plug-ins directory. You can choose to ‘install’ only one plug-in at a time, or you can choose to install all of your vstplugins, although we highly recommend only doing one plug-in for now. You have the option of uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. any combination of plug-ins chosen.

If this is your first CDSoundMaster VSTPlug-In for your Mac, please make sure that you first download and install the “Acqua_Host_Installer” available on our website.
Extract contents to the following location:
(Primary HDD)Macintosh HD> Library> Frameworks>
You only need to download and place this Acqua Host Installer this one time for your Mac CDSoundMaster VST Plug-Ins.

So this does show up under 32 lives. I though someone said it was 64 bits? I guess their VST to AU conversion utility only does it in 32 bits? "Patchwork" stays in 64 Bits, but there is no list of VTTM presets on that GUI, like there is in the 32lives 32 but version of the GUI

no, I believe not... I said that in reply to Lasarus... if you read the info before and after the download link, it clearly says: R2R and Tonebooster. Which are two products. No where is the name of anyother plugin.

But I must admit, it is ALL very confusing. I mean CDSoundmasters non-nebula stuff seems to have some extra bullshit that you gotta install or whatever. Aqua somethin or other, "make a folder here", then "make a folder there"...

I'd rather :

A) stick to Vst
B) Try Fxpansion Adapter (check below)
C) Use Waves Kramer Tape instead

I've chosen "A" and "B".

In terms of an actual AU solution... I'm thinkin' fxpansion (whom I believe has a Vst-to-Au adapter, and is also on here)... might work for this device.

Like I said their VST to AU converter does work, albeit 32 bits through 32 lives, and BlueCat patchwork works in 64 bits but without the presets list. I assume the Fxpansion converter works as well.

Not sure if I like this better than Waves J37 though.

bluecat gives me the presets with no problems. smoothly working VTM 64bit VST in Blue Cat Patchwork AU 64 bit in latest logic.
