Often coveted, rarely found for sale, and known as one of the greatest analog synths ever made, the Oberheim Matrix 12 was the crowning pinnacle of Oberheim products. Used by the likes of Joe Zawinul, Michael Brecker, Keith Emerson, Vince Clarke, Tangerine Dream, Nitzer Ebb, and many more, it is now available to you too.

Recreation
We recreated the tonal aspects of the original 2 oscillators and their waveforms but more importantly we modeled the 15 filter modes!
The Matrix 12’s complex sound was defined by its multiple filter modes and by the amazing number of modulation sources and destinations.
With nearly endless possibilities of modulation routings you can create sounds with very organic qualities not found in other synthesizers.

Seems to be very buggy, maybe because of hex war's crack?

for example (tested on osx 32bit):
- click on voices tab. It will jump back to the first tab of some seconds
- activate analog chorus fx. You will hear a heavy pitch modulation which has nothing to do with a chorus effect.

Using logic - Mavericks.
If I open the plug in AU, it just shows a white screen where the instrument should be. It plays, but of course you can not change presets, edit etc.
If I click View (next to show channel strip at the top), then controls, it shows. But trying to scroll down results in the beach ball spinning for about 10 seconds.
If I click View then Cocoa view - it is the white screen again.

EDIT:
Seems to be working now. Just going through the patches. Not tried anything else.
One thing though updating these plug ins, my Arturia lab is now defunct.
Saying that, I haven't tried to reinstall that.
I am using an Intel Mac - Ventura 13.7.4
