Thanks beau, oddly it was the "reboot" that got it working. Never had to do that before on a waves au reg.

To anyone interested in:

System: Mac OS X 10.6.8
Waves Bundle: NOT INSTALLED
Waves Element (Synthesizer): Installed

What i've done:

01. Copy "Scheps 73.bundle" in Applications->Waves->Waves Plug-ins
02. Run Reaper and plug-in was not in the list so i closed Reaper
03. Run "Waves AU Reg Utility 9.2.app" in Applications->Waves->Waveshells
04. Run Reaper again WITHOUT REBOOTING my iMac
05. BINGO! ... Plug-in was in the list and working!

Tha, tha, that's all Folks!
BTW Great Plug-In!!! It "restored" an old recording of mine wonderfully!
Thanks Kook for taking it out from the other post and create its own post!

If you have R2R Waves v9r14:

Go to your Component (AU) folder and find the ‘WaveShell-AU 9.2.component’ and e.g. copy it to your Desktop. Right-click and Show Content, then browse to the /Resources/SubComps-folder and delete everything inside.

Now Uninstall/delete Waves folder, and you may have to manually delete plugins in Component, vst, vst3 folders etc.

Download the offline Waves v9r15 installer. Install Mercury + GTR Solo 3.5 + SSL 4000 Collection. Now find the new and same ‘WaveShell-AU 9.2.component’ as above in your Component folder. Show Content and copy all the files in SubComps folder in the new file to the old R2R ‘WaveShell-AU 9.2.component’ on your desktop. Uninstall Waves again and delete Waves folder.

Then install R2R v9r14 again. Put the two new Waves plugins in your Waves Plug-Ins folder. Then copy the ‘WaveShell-AU 9.2.component’ from Desktop and overwrite the one in your Component folder. Run 'Waves AU Reg Utility 9.2' and everything should be fine.

jaxxy or anyone else running 10.6.8. When you just "dragged and dropped and rescanned" it worked? What version of the Waves Au Reg Utility did you use? 9.0? 9.1? 9.2? And secondly, what version of the Waveshell-AU component are you running ? 9.0? 9.1? 9.2? I cannot seem to get this to work for the life of me. Thanks for any help that someone might provide.

KOOK is KING! Much respect for all the hard work that you put into this place. I eternally thank you.

I cannot seem to get this to work for the life of me.

Install your Waves package (i did the 9r14 version), then add the "Scheps 73.bundle" into your Waves Plug-Ins folder (Applications/Waves), then run the Waves AU Reg Utility 9.2 (Applications/Waves/Waveshells).
Et voila.

Thanks for any help that someone might provide.

You're welcome ^ ^

PS: Runs smoothly with Logic 9.1.8 and Adobe Audition CS6 (Snow Leopard 10.6.8). Only tested the AU version.

Here you can grab the "fixed" 9r15 'WaveShell-AU 9.2.component'. Replace R2R v9r14 inside /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components

Then run the 'Waves AU Reg Utility 9.2'.

Help. Please! I'm an idiot and I admit it but that's no reason not to help me. I guess I've downloaded the wrong file. The one I downloaded is called this: WaSche73.9R14.Ked.MAC.OSX but when I open it, it's just code in text edit. Have I got to open it in a different application or have I got the wrong file?

Worked, but wasn't stable enough to work in Cubase 7.5. Kept crashing out the app. Good try, think I will buy, it's on sale!. Thanks!
