I don't use Absynth but I guess is the same for all of them, so...
- First you need to d/l the plugs from Assign and Install.
- Fix/reset all permissions of this FIX release (Plugs & SA) with BATCHMOD or PermissionsReset (see Tremors/Kookaboo tip).
- Replace the originals plugs with the fixed ones. Have fun!

Permissions Reset worked for me on stand alone. Sometimes stand alone is good to use when you feel like jamming around. Especially with Massive. Thanks.

Out of curiosity is there any reason that rammfire and the other non factory does not show up when browsing through presets in GT5?

how do you reset permission in mac so I dont run into this problem lol
