Sonoma 14.5 and Ableton 12 cannot open the AU (codesigned etc). Any other suggestions please? Thank you

3. sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - [space & drag the plugin hit enter, wait 5-20 second]
4. sudo xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine [space & drag the plugin hit enter, wait 5-20 second]
5. sudo chmod +x [space & drag the plugin hit enter, wait 5-20 second]

Thanks, I tried them multiply times and AU doesn't open in Ableton and cannot even find VST3.

I followed your commands and it works like a charm so thank you!

To the rest of the people that didn 't work this way or worked only one version instead of both , follow Hopeless's commands by the book . Make sure of the right spacing after pasting the commands because if one works then the other should too , so it could be something on dictation , mainly spacing at this case. I just repost the whole procedure just to have it collected. Credits go to Hopeless for all

- copy/paste your plugins into their folders. (components,VST3)
1. Open Terminal App
2. xcode-select --install [Hit Enter, wait until finish downloading]
3. sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - [space & drag the plugin hit enter, wait 5-20 second]
4. sudo xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine [space & drag the plugin hit enter, wait 5-20 second]

3. copy plugins into folder plugin osx
4. open terminal and close it with each next step
5. sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - [space & drag the plugin hit enter, wait 5-20 second]

IMPORTANT: you must start the steps again, closing the terminal at each step.
A plugin validation message by Mac OSX can be requested in confidentiality and security: the opening of the plugin must be validated.

After repeating the steps, the plugins will open.

did all the steps and it is still not opening for me.. in fl studio the vst3 works and in studio one (my main daw) is the vst3 not showing up. the au version is showing up but I am not able to open it.

I tried codesign and follow the instruction but on Sonoma 14.2.1 with Logic 10.8 when I open Logic still say ' You are using incompatible Audio Unit'

For those that can't get it to work, try re-downloading and decompressing with something other than the automatic decompression in JDownloader, etc... and then follow the suggested steps for code sign and quarantine, etc...

Nothing was working for me until I figured out that the VST3 package wasn't complete, from a bad extraction. Now it finally works.

People say this works.. ive tried everything.. gave up.

Then thanks to chrisxhl as he stated, it was the Unrar in Jdownloader.

I unrar'd Part 1 and Part 2 Rar files with unarchiver and extracted the zip file.
then expanded the Zip file

Now works great VST3

Wow that was it.. thanks!! never had that before. Extracted a zip file from the rar files with unarchiver, then everything was fine.

it does not work, all these links , even the main one after it gives u a link.. it takes u to some p*rn stuff.... the downloads when I wait an hour still dont even open on mac and says error tryung to extract file....:(

i dont know what im doing wrong. Did the whole codesigning process, i have lulu for blocking connection and the plugin is scanned without error but i get stuck on a fruity wrapper "plugin loading" screen (FL 24.1, M2 Sequoia 15.1). Do i need to do the whole codesigning process on the component part too?

EDIT! (for all the noobs like me)
I have Lulu installed to block internet connection. I followed EXACTLY instructions of hopeless and stavros (look above) and it worked. I did all of the codesigning process, waiting 5-20 sec. and closing terminal after each command (idk if that matters). Did the whole thing for the .vst3 part and then the whole thing for the .component part, and it worked like a charm.
