Sonic Charge Synplant 2 macOS U2B - pknr screenshot
About Synplant
Synplant takes a genetic twist on sound design by moving beyond traditional knob-twisting and dial-adjusting, emphasizing exploration and discovery. Here, your ears guide you through a forest of organic textures and evolving timbres.

Digging into the Genome
Whether you begin from a random seed, an existing patch, or a creation from Genopatch, Synplant offers many different ways to sculpt your sound. When you are ready to delve further into the core of your patch, you can crack open your sound seeds and modify their underlying genetic code.

For GenoPatch :
" Required resources are missing. Please reinstall Synplant. "
Everything else seems to work well!

I made this mistake. It means you installed to the wrong library location. Mac OS has 2, you want to put them in the HD/Library one

I'm doing something wrong... Codesigning via these instructions, but Logic 11 won't authorize the AU.

1.Disable gatekeeper

sudo spctl --master-disable

2.Dequarantine files (specially patched files if getting damaged error)

sudo xattr -cr "plugin or file location"

3.codesign the application (error developer cannot -be verified)

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign "app location"

4.always restart the mac after installing plugins.

For me, with this new version, if I keep the plugin window open, the preset stays. If I close the plugin window in any DAW, the plugin reverts to the default preset instantly. Of course, the project doesn't remember the preset between sessions even if you leave the window open when closing.

Then after a while loud static noise from the plugin until you remove it from the project. oh well. hopefully can be worked out.

You might have to manually save the preset then you can recall it. If youre using ableton, try turning on the setting that auto-hides plugins when choosing different channels. For now, that may be a workaround to closing the plugin device

if I click on the genopatch button after closing it recalls the preset, but it's really a hot mess for the moment.

Can someone give instuctions on how to codesign on a Mac? I'm on an M3

use the mac terminal app to codesign.I put the component file and vst3 file into their respective folders, opened terminal and copied the sudo command into it, leaving 1 space after it and then dragged the component file and vst3 (seperately), hit enter and if all went well itll say password or have a key icon, when you type your password it wont show up so keep that in mind, once done itll say the signature has been updated. i did it twice just to be sure.

Finally got it to work, so far no timebomb and no sound drop off. I did have the demo of synplant installed so when they say deep clean they mean deep. at first i only cleaned the HD/library folders but you have to go into HD/Users/name/ and show hidden folders to find the library folder in there. once inside clean anything sonic charge once again, mine had a sonic charge folder with a authorization folder. once deleting everything, restarting mac, and installing as instructed with the text file synplant now works, thank you pknr!

m1 Sonoma 14.5 WORKING! I have fixed my sound drop off problem without Batchmod. I am using little snitch though. Maybe that is doing the same? I found that I definitely forgot to delete one important file that I did not see by using the shift command period command. Go to Library/your name/ and there was another sonic charge folder with two files from when I used the demo!
