For those that can't find their Device ID in the Licences tab in Waves Central, your Device ID is the MAC Address in your Network Preferences.

System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Hardware > MAC Address

Type the digits into the Keygen without the :

My studio rack has never worked with auto populating all of the waves plugins. Any suggestions on getting it to work?

Some quick notes that could be helpful:
- Yes you need to create an account and login to download from the app.
- When you copy and paste you mac address, make all the alphanumeric uppercase. If you don't do it, the license will fail.

On Catalina you need Crossover which can be found here as well.. Create a bottle (like Windows 7 32 bit) , give it a name, then start the bottle, select "run command" from the main window, point to the waves_keyegen.exe and run it.

Once you've downloaded all the plug ins you want from waves central, how do you make it so the plug ins are licensed. Have tried to put the license in the license folder but is still saying it isn't licensed?

Just installed this today and it works fine. Thank you.

Some tips from my installation:

1) My network MAC address was not my Device ID.

2) The Device ID you actually need can can be found when you log into Waves --> Licenses --> Connected Devices

3) You want the Device ID code for the drive you are going to install Waves on and you want to keep the letters capitalized as is printed. Pop that into the keygen and you should be golden.

Would love some help if anyone can. Thanks lonno for the help with crossover/windows.

I've installed crossover, run the keygen.exe file fine with my mac ID, got a license .wle file, and placed the licence in the library/applicationsupport/waves/licenses folder

When I run Waves Central I can't see any licenses (in the cloud or connected devices), I run Logic and plugin manager can't find licenses for them either. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

I have the same exact problem! Logic can't locate the license file and nothing shows up in wave central either.

in case anyone is still having problem, I got another solution. Today my waves bundle stopped working- to even get it installed when this was released I had to go back and forth fiddling until something I forget what, worked. I know for sure like the other guy said you gotta make sure to use the Device ID from Waves Central which isnt always exactly your mac address.

I had to download the latest installer, made sure the license bundle was still good, repaired the installation, and nothing worked.

So to be clear -

Install most recent waves central from the website

login and update as usual, plug in the usb drive - check the device ID in waves central
(in the "type" part of the keygen choose KEY - make the drive/waves/licenses folder, drop it there.)

NOW CLOSE WAVES CENTRAL AND NEVER OPEN THAT BITCH AGAIN, block it from the internet until you need to update or it breaks. I kept refreshing the damn waves central waiting for the license to show up and everytime I clicked the refresh icon in the top right, it wouldn't work. Just open up your daw and when it says not found, click rescan license!

Hey man, Ive installed fine and the plugins all work. However, whenever i close Logic Pro X everytime i start Logic it re-scans ALL of Waves plugins? Do you know a work around fo this or how to fix it?

AU regutil always find 0 AU ? VST isnt wokring either , any idea ?
