9.7.3 Release Notes
Improvements and feature changes:
Added Control Surface support for the Roland FA series.

Bugfixes:
Mouse cursors would be drawn with a very small size on Windows, when using Live on a HiDPI screen.
Improved the reliability of vertical scrolling on Windows.
Live Sets created on Windows will no longer be saved as temporary files, and will therefore show up under Windows Explorer's list of recently used files. This change does not apply when saving previously created sets a new time.
VST plug-ins would be rescanned on program launch, after an automatic update took place.
Previously, copying or duplicating an Arrangement clip created unwanted automation for some third-party AU plug-in parameters, if they were not yet automated.
Fixed a crash that would occur after creating a MIDI feedback loop with a VST plug-in.
Previously, the global launch quantization setting would not be recalled correctly after performing an undo/redo, or after a crash occurred.
In case no audio driver is selected (OSX) or no ASIO driver is available (Windows), the "Show Link Toggle" button is disabled in Live's Preferences.

Changes for Push:
Fixed a crash that would occur if the ReWire.dll for PreSonus's "Notion" DAW was installed, and Push was enabled in Live's Preferences. This also fixed a bug which prevented waveforms or meters from being displayed on Push 2, under certain circumstances.

I admit that most of my releases were mistakes like this one... releasing stuff that could be done by the experts so much better. That's why I'm retiring. I will continue in the community but not releasing, just helping the gods like R2R and all the great people out here.

if you dont have anything positive to say then stay quiet,
it is better to stay quiet and be thought a fool than speak loudly and leave no doubt.

thankyou iND/Patensesoul&GonBi:) for this, it is good to have other versions of a program by different groups because one release may work on one machine/Os combo while another may work on an older OS that the new one fails.i've just recently had this problem so this release has saved my bacon as I was trying to get the other to work on an imac and it failed over and over-who knows why as it worked on other machines,this one by you works perfect tho.

well we can only hope the ingrates have not pushed one of the last great independent osx reversers into retirement in platensesoul. We saw it happen to HEXWARS and Copylefter. Then pitchshifter... all the talent has moved on to hopefully happy places...

but as a relative "old timer", I am going to say a sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to platensesoul, as he has gotten us through rough times more then we have him. I get that he is irritated... hell, I am all the time, but I don't have 1/10000th the talent he does.

If he does not return, all good, on his own terms. But there are a lot of us out here who owe you a lot friend, and I hope you know that WE know that.

I just want you to enjoy your life. and thanks for giving us some as well. respect.

you have run the wrong command file either 32bit in a 64 bit system or 64 bit in a 32 bit system, try the other file and also to run the file dont forget to chmod +x (filename and path) to make it executeable for user.

this version of ableton 9.7.3 is the only one that worked on my imac, the others didnt but work on other computers, well done!!!

Please can someone tell me how to install this the correct way!? First installing the dmg file and then running the command file? And what's with the auz file?
