Intuitive Workflow

Render your audio to be loudness compliant and appropriate for delivery and broadcast—all with just two clicks! A history graph and loudness report inform you of whether your audio is within the appropriate tolerance of the selected loudness standard, and if not, shows you where the overflows may be occurring. An easy-to-use interface guides you seamlessly through the workflow, displaying relevant and useful loudness metering.

Surround Sound

Channel count formats vary from project to project, and loudness standards can dictate specs for surround channel counts. To ensure loudness compliance in any channel format you may be working with, RX Loudness Control supports mono, stereo, and surround channel counts up to 5.1 for seamless integration into any workflow.

IRC™ II Limiting

Existing automated loudness correction tools can sometimes produce questionable sound quality. Fortunately, RX Loudness Control includes IRC (Intelligent Release Control) II, an incredibly transparent limiting algorithm that sonically outperforms the competition. This offline process corrects a mono, stereo, or surround sound audio file for True Peak value (dBTP).

Global Loudness Standards

With so many loudness specifications being introduced and refined across the globe, it can be difficult to maintain loudness compliance for multiple broadcast networks. RX Loudness Control boasts an extensive list of the latest and most significant global loudness standards. Select from among the following loudness standards:

•BS.1770-2-3 (Global)
•EBU R128 (Europe)
•EBU R128 s1 (Europe)

Multi-host Compatibility

RX Loudness Control supports offline processing as an AudioSuite plug-in for the two leading broadcast editing platforms: Avid Media Composer and Pro Tools 10-12. And for the first time, offline loudness-compliant processing is available as an audio extension for Adobe Premiere Pro.

I wonder if the 14day trial from Izotope includes those, I haven't installed yet, but a quick look only shows the IZLoundnessPTHook.dpm, so not sure if the presets are built in like some others (they are pretty much established broadcasting standards right?)…..

also curious how this would work on individual tracks of dialog in a movie etc…. time for some research!

herr Heisenberg Not necessarily you can get a Good used 6 or 8 Core 2008 to 2010 Mac for 2 to 3 thousand i saved a long time to get mine and if you are not spending at least 2 to 3 thousand on a Music Computer any one should not even Be trying to do Music production that is the Hart and Brain of the studio

indeed. Fully agree. I run a mac trashcan, and it was the best investment I made. Saves me a lot of time and stress. Even my mixes have improved because I can run or afford to run more/better plugins.

I recorded, mixed and mastered my father's band last two albums (acoustic music, usually voice, piano and two picked/bowed string instruments depending on tracks.)
on a Powerbook G4, 1GHz PPC and 1168MB RAM.
Sure, you can't produce EDM, trap or whatever is mainstream music today, cause you will most likely need like 174 channels, 15 of which for layered bassdrum samples (downloaded from audioz ofc),
cause you can't get any of the 15 not to sound a shit on its own, let alone layered.

It's RTAS only, and I don't believe PT12 supports RTAS anymore, so sorry, don't think so!
