i have read in forums that you can use this soft with others midi drums of other marks.
The only problem is that you must change your configuration if isnt the same than a Roland.
If you send a C3 like a snare and a Roland Vdrum C3 is tom, you must turn the input of that midi-note. I think that with environment of Logic or configuration in addictive drums you can get it.

I´ll probe but not now. Good luck and lot of thanks for this

same here, I'm running Mac OS 10.7.5 and I can't get it to work

It works on 10.9.1

You need to open terminal, cd to the app. So this:
V-Drums Tutor DT-1.app/Contents/MacOS/
and then chmod a+x *
then it should work fine. After I did that it worked perfectly.

it didn't work, excuse my ignorance, not sure if i'm doing something wrong: inside V-Drums Tutor DT-1 there are two folders, one named __MACOSX, the other one same name V-Drums Tutor DT-1, I select the application of the latter and drag it to the terminal window while holding command, I press enter, terminal response: 'is a directory', then I type chmod a+x*, press enter and I get: chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-a | +a | =a [i][# [ n]]] mode|entry file ...
chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-E | -C | -N | -i | -I] file ...
Macintosh-3:~ username$

After that I try topen the application and same as before it bounces in my dock indefinitely until I click on it and disappears :(

a simple permission reset works for me on 10.6.8

thanks but repairing permissions didn't work either

Try going to the app folder as specified and try

chmod -R +x *

This will fix permissions recursively for all subfolders. Make sure to be in the right folder.

I tried chmod -R +x * as suggested right after dragging the app while holding command, this time the terminal response was chmod followed by a long list of apps with the message 'operation not permitted' (i hope I haven't messed anything!) but V-Drums Tutor DT-1 does not open yet

You have to cd to the directory mentioned into the correct folder or it wont work.

please let me know if i'm doing something wrong: I go to the app, show package contents, select the MacOS folder, drag it to the terminal window while holding cmd, then (without pressing enter yet) type 'chmod -R +x *' I press enter. Terminal response: -bash: /Applications/V-Drums Tutor DT-1/V-Drums Tutor DT-1/V-Drums Tutor DT-1.app/Contents/MacOS: is a directory
macintosh-3:~ username$
It didn't work
