Anyone of us with those systems can convert any audio-file for you! tongue
If we can unpack the archive (download server has nothing to do)
Sorry but i couldn't contain myself rofl
mates

Definitively archive is bad packed
Nope it's only that it's OVER-packed in Windows - See below.

Downloaded from UL and *.rar files in the last step are not recognized neither by any of the MacOSX unarchivers i have (Keka, Entropy, UnrarX, sArchive, Springy), nor by 7zip in a VM with Windows7 ... Going to try with winrar now. I have to download it, so i'll tell you something later.

Good News ... only if you have a windows machine or a VM with windows.

WinRar WORKS! ... It unarchives the *.rar files (after the first *.zip files) to STILL another *.zip file (Music_Converter_v1.2.0.zip) just to get an *.app file after unzipping it. I tried to copy that *.app file from Fusion VM Win7 to Mac by dragging and dropping it but i had some problems. So, finally i copied/paste the last *.zip from the Fusion VM to a folder on the Mac, unarchived et voila! phones

Also, there's a version of WinRar for MacOS (command line only) in the Rarlab site that i have not tried ... perhaps you would be able to unrar the files with it also dunno

Thank you for the tip, fraggle, my friend! I'll leave that VM WinLoveDose hassle-hof for tomorrow I guess.
Seriously though: why not simply packing it up into multiple RARs and providing a checksum anyways?
no

Thanks a lot nonetheless, Sunny and CORE!

You can try to use the command line version as i've said above, maybe it works and you don't need to go to that "VM WinLoveDose hassle-hof" dunno

multiple zip files are also a royal pain on the mac for some reason. Winrar for pc has no issues with unpacking multiple zips to a single directory.

No VM needed. Only a bottle of Wine. mates

Solution to unpack this App on Mac OS X.
- Install WinOnX on your OS X
- Install WinRar5Final (x86.exe) in a WinOnX bottle
- Finish Installer and open WinRar
- Select one of the .rar Files and press ALT+E to extract to a folder
- Inside extracted folder you will find the .zip from Core

Give it a try folks. wink

Or even better ...

01. Download Winrar for MacOSX from Rarlab (creators of WinRar).
02. Untar it and copy "rar" and "unrar" to MacHD/usr/bin.
(from then on you'll have genuine rar and unrar installed on your Mac dance)

After that run a terminal go to the folder where you have the files you want to extract and enter "unrar e <file.rar>" (to extract without archived files) or "unrar x <file.rar>" (to extract with archived paths) at the prompt. To see the rest of valid commands enter "unrar" alone at the prompt. You can even create an AppleScript or Automator to automate the process.

So, no need neither for Virtual Machines, nor for bottles of Wine ... except, of course, to get a drink of wine while unrar unarchives all the files tongue ... be quick though! rofl

MacHD/usr/bin.

Hey fraggle83, what do you mean by "MacHD/usr/bin."?
Is there such a folder? I don't see it.

Edit: OK, got to the folder by Cmd+Shift+G on Finder by typing /usr/bin
Folder became visible and copied the files. I'll see how it goes from there...

Of course there is! ... only that it is hidden (with a bunch of many others) by default (security for "bad" hands, you know? - Think that doing that you enter in core of the system).

Anyway, if you use Path Finder (absolutely recommended) go to display->show invisible files and check it. If you use only the Finder then go to display->show system files (or Shift+Cmd+.) After doing that you'll see the folder (greyed with regards to the "normal" folders, but usable).

NOTE:
my system is in spanish language so i translated "Visualizacion" by "Display" but i've seen in some programs that there's a "View" option to configure the display, so most probably that menu option in english could be "View".

Hope this helps mates

This is a right way to do it, but if you accept an advice, i would recommend you to spend some time learning the other way. Doing that you'll learn also some very useful things about the system you're using, that you could use when the "normal" things go wrong.

I want to keep most (or all) of the system folders invisible.

I really prefer not dealing with geekery when I'm on OSX. That was the sole reason of buying a Mac. Sometimes one needs a rest. Especially If you are over 40 like me :)
Windows is good for that purpose.
But I don't want to keep both machines switched on all the time.

This thing with unrar... is acceptable. Convenient enough.
It worked, thanks.

One more thing... it's interesting...

There's no software called "Leawo Music Converter" on Leawo website.

Shame nobody cares to fix the archives. I've tried 7 different unpackers on Mac and they all say the files are corrupt.
I've seen the comments about a windows-unpacker works, but HEY, this is a MAC sw. So why is this even an issue???

Please repack the files so we can use them. (and yes, I've tried all of the links...)

Shame, this seemed useful...
