the version that I got a while back came with an NFO file, it tells you how to install everything I am sure this one does as well, and you guys that post in the MAC section are doing a smash up job, I should say thank you more.

Now to those of us who always come in here, grab some stuffff and run away like the mouse who took a big bite out of that good chees,

When it does not work for you, you will be fast to post your situation, hoping to find some answers, but whenever you figured out the work around you never share that little info with your members.

I will say shame unto whoever that is if you use this info below

this release works perfectly just follow this instruction and you will never get los.

here is what i did. ASSUMING YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED 1.0.9 UPGRADED TO 1.4.1 as in my case


if you already have this vst installed b4 now, just download all this http://ul.to/folder/bxrffd and
reFX.Nexus.v1.4.1.VSTi.RTAS.AU.MAC.OSX.UB-DYNAMiCS.rar

as the poster said, open your daw, insert NEXUS and load all expansion (or +skin) from http://ul.to/folder/bxrffd one after the other. Once you have successfully completed the load. do not do any other thing but quit from your daw

AND
now go into reFX.Nexus.v1.4.1.VSTi.RTAS.AU.MAC.OSX.UB-DYNAMiCS.rar, Note that there are two DMG file. Run the one that says Patch. assuming you installed 1.0.9 upgrade to 1.4.1

and install it (during installation you will be prompt to chose installation folder ) in to NEXUS PRESETS FOLDER from your application folder MAC HD/Application/ Nexus Content/ and presets

Now here comes the fun part, Fire up your DAW, insert Nexus and import all the included skin one by one.

You should now be ready to play with your new Plugin with all other goodies.

Has anyone else had trouble with the Analog Expansion?
Downloads and imports fine, but when loading any of the presets it delivers an endlessly spinning wheel.
Looks like unexpected copy protection.
Is there a way around?
Is it just me?

@DSS what exactly did you do. did you install the plug in in sequence as advised are you loading other expansion ouside of the one released here. if you follow the instruction, there should not be any qualms. to save you from your trouble uninstall every thing and reinstall following the instruction as 1.0.9 then update to 1.4.1 (not the patch but the update itself) and load all expansion from your daw. close your daw and install the 1.4.1 patch. this should be ok.

@SIRESCOBBA, why dont you help and try it out yourself and report your finding. As far as i have heard, there no working version 2 Nexus for mac so may be that blog is some thing that we missed or did not get around here. ANd besides if it worked on mac it should have been here by now.

Can someone explain how to to upgrade to 1.41. I all ready have the file downloaded but i can't figure out how to update

Just run reFX Nexus v1.4.1.dmg
And this is for MacOS
I can send you a 1.4.1 patch for both win and mac if you dont have, PM me if you want.

I can't update from 1.09 to 1.4.1
it says he can't install file in Application/Refx folder

What can I do?
I tryed to change the permission but nothing to do

@Partfinder or anyone that could possibly help, could you PM the 1.4.1 patch and update that you get when you unzip the file d-ns14xa.rar. Im unable to unzip the d-ns14x.rar, i keep receiving this error in UNRAX

The only dmg that unzips is the refx.nexus.expensionpack.dmg which does nothing as when i try to load the packs it tells me i need 1.3 and higher. i even used pecifist and other unzip programs to no avail.
