TEAM HCiSO | 21 April 2025 | 2.13 GB
ZENOLOGY Pro is an expandable plug-in version of the ZEN-Core Synthesis System. ZEN-Core is based on discrete synth voices—each containing a flexible oscillator, filter, amplifier, dual LFOs, and effects. It mixes multiple synthesis types, combining vintage Roland oscillators and filters with PCM waves capable of sync and cross modulation. Layer up to four voices in a single tone for rich, complex sounds, both classic and modern.

ZEN-Core is our most advanced sound engine, powering professional synthesizers like JUPITER-X and FANTOM. With our ZENOLOGY Pro Collection, you get our flagship plug-in, as well as five Model Expansions that recreate iconic Roland instruments.

Hardcore ZEN-Core
For decades, Roland sounds have had a massive influence on music. Our legendary instruments have defined genres like techno, house, rap, trap, and hip hop, and deeply influenced pop, rock, and film music. This long legacy has culminated in the ZEN-Core Synthesis System and ZENOLOGY Pro.

Legendary sounds at your fingertips.
Model expansions capture the essence of their vintage counterparts with astonishing realism and authenticity. With expanded polyphony and a boldly modern interface, they deliver the unique sound and experience of the original hardware—without the expense and maintenance.

Built for speed.
Model Expansions are designed for speed and performance in modern production. When hosted in ZENOLOGY, they take full advantage of the plug-in’s intuitive interface, efficient CPU usage, touch-friendly controls, and easy resizing. And you can swap Model Expansions and load sounds instantly, with no disruption to your creative flow.

→ The Five Expansions:

JUNO-106
Introduced in 1984 as an affordable polysynth for the masses, the JUNO-106 has risen from humble beginnings to become a favorite of synth lovers everywhere. It delivers gut-punching basses, delicate plucked sounds, and shimmering pads that sit perfectly in a mix, and its built-in chorus is the stuff of legend.

JUPITER-8
Released in 1981, the JUPITER-8 is one of the most revered synthesizers of all time. Its lush, complex sound is on more hit songs than you can count, and its massive analog voice is simply unmatched when it comes to warm pads, strings, and lead tones.

SH-101
Since its release in 1982, the small but mighty SH-101 has been a key ingredient in shaping electronic music. Originally marketed to beginners, it soon found favor with serious players thanks to its straightforward interface and head-turning sounds. With the SH-101 Model Expansion, the monophonic SH-101 is reborn as a polyphonic synth, bringing new and exciting possibilities.

JD-800
By the early ’90s, preset-driven digital synths with limited hands-on controls dominated the landscape. The JD-800 changed all that in 1991, bringing the synthesizer world back to its roots with a massive control-laden panel and an aggressively electronic sound palette. Combining the original JD-800 waveforms with advanced modeling techniques, the JD-800 Model Expansion brings the gleaming tone and monster sound-shaping potential of this vintage digital icon into a modern workflow.

JX-8P
Launched in 1985, the innovative JX-8P took analog a step further with capabilities that could generate tones associated with digital synthesizers, making it highly versatile. With the JX-8P Model Expansion, we reintroduce the unique voice of this sought-after classic for the first time ever. The hands-on editing functions of the companion PG-800 programmer are also included, thoughtfully integrated into the user interface.

Loving these releases... a massive thank you.
Can someone please tell me the difference between this release and the one released on the 10th April (2.0.3)?

According to the Reddit Roland Clan forum, 2.0.3 caused some crashes in Reaper and Cubase for some when loading multiple instances and some GUI glitches (some needing to roll back to 2.0.2 to address the issue). These have hopefully been resolved in 2.0.4. The loading time is due to loading initial preset data. You will notice after the first instance, adding extra tracks will load instantly thereafter.

Your best bet is to get Pacifist from here. Then drag and drop the pkg into Pacifist, right click the package and select 'Install in default location'. It might install all plugin formats, but it should install properly.
