Put the croslic folder on your desktop. Then run the license.tool in terminal. It works for me.

The script doesn't work there. You can just take this part of the code from it.
It also copies the file
libcxsetup-v3.py
to this directory
/Applications/CrossOver.app/Contents/Resources
but everything works without this file too

have you made sure to give terminal permission to make changes to apps?

or are you trying to install this having previously used up the 14 day trial? I think once the trial runs out it puts a file somewhere deep in your system which basically makes it impossible to use TNT's version without a fresh install of your OS.

Whatever version I dl here, I have never been able to get this to work beyond the trial version.
