Fast and fun loop control - Leap is an ultra-fast and playful way to play and manipulate loops. Spark fresh ideas, sprinkle in expressive performance effects, or just jam. Breathe new life into your sample collection or try something totally fresh with our new Leap Expansions series, starting with 12 curated packs for specific genres and styles.

Sound like nothing else - Conflux is the first in a new breed of Kontakt instruments for experimental sound design. Layer organic and synthetic samples and add dynamic movement to static sounds in real time, with original PPG wavetables and techniques like FM, Phase Modulation, and Ring Modulation.

Get going with hundreds of included instruments
Kontakt's Factory Library comes packed with over hundreds of meticulously sampled instruments. Get started with a huge playable and tweakable selection of acoustic and electronic options, including the renowned collection from Orchestral Tools, plus Hybrid Keys.

Dream it, build it
All your favorite Kontakt instruments are built right here. The powerful feature set makes Kontakt the first choice for instrument developers worldwide, and it just got even bigger with enhanced synth capabilities, including real-time wavetable, frequency modulation, and ring modulation oscillators.

Are tools in this ? Chords and phrases?
  Member 20.05.2023 44

If you really need Chords and phrases and everything else you should install Kontakt Player from Native Access, this will install everything Kontakt comes with including Piano Uno, then install Kontakt Full in either of the two releases.

Of course you must first clean, for this I leave you the commands, remember that this will remove absolutely everything, you will have to add the libraries again.

Clean Kontakt

sudo rm -rf /Applications/Native\ Instruments
sudo rm -rf /Users/Shared/Native\ Instruments
sudo rm -rf /Users/(youruser)/Documents/Native\ Instruments/Kontakt\ 8
sudo rm -rf /Users/(youruser)/Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.*
sudo rm -rf /Users/(youruser)/Library/Application\ Support/Native\ Instruments
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Native\ Instruments
sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.*
sudo rm -rf /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Kontakt\ 8.component
sudo rm -rf /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Kontakt\ 8.vst3

This deletes a lot of stuff that are not Kontakt related. Is it safe ?
  Member 20.05.2023 44

Just remove the Native-Instruments stuff, don't touch anything else. It's safe, but you'll have to add the libraries again.

easy way to get chord and phase is pull a multi sound in kontakt 8 library, which will has one or the other auto loaded, delete the instrument under phase or chord and add any sound you want

I've installed many kontakt instruments without ever using native access, that's why I have questions. When I installed Kontakt 8 all my libraries disappeared in Kontakt 7. When I uninstalled 8 they all immediately re-appeared. Has anyone kept both 7 and 8 without issues. I have an M2 mac. Also, is anyone using sequoia? I have sonoma.

We really need to stop with this passive aggressive/pitting against each other stuff... Every contribution is welcome especially from people who keep us fed given how the Mac scene is starving us sometimes. You gain nothing by doing this except showing how ungrateful you are.

Ungrateful != criticism. Yeah, the person above wasn't really specific or anything, but in general there's nothing wrong with providing legitimate criticism if there's a certain problem with a specific release.

There's nothing wrong with, for example, pointing out that some users may not like when certain teams replace random text strings in the UI with their name. Is it wrong to say it publicly? There's nothing wrong with acknowledging that certain releases are better tested than others.

And lastly, I wouldn't say "oh it's provided for free, so be grateful", this is not just an altruistic effort (even if it mostly is) or anything, the links do generate some revenue for the uploader. So just like we can criticise, well...anything, we should be able to criticise or mention certain issues, problems, etc.

Anyway, we can just avoid the toxic parts (like mentioning different teams under a release of an another one) and rather just stick to commenting on the topic. If something is wrong with this release, for example, people should be able to say it.

Just to clarify.. comments here are supposed to only be about the content of a release and nothing else. Especially no personal tit for tat beef dramas, team vs team insults etc. If you wanna discuss anything other than the content, we have a forum for that or use PM.

I have exactly the same problem as with Moria release. Some libraries won't show up in K8 when they do in K7. I logged in Native Access and there is a small red " ! " in front of these libraries. Any idea ?

Uninstall the instruments that are showing exclamation marks in Native Access, then re-add them (via KLU/Kontakt 5/kitty script -doesn't matter whichever method you choose, but first uninstall in NA).
y'all got anymore of those plugins??

Where can I find this "script" ?

Gotcha.. now, how do I use them? There's no instructions file anywhere.

I'm having trouble adding the 40gb Factory Library.
Only Factory Selection is recognized by Native Access.

@Gaymoon: I'd recommend reading the KLU2 thread over at the sister forum site, I'm hazy on rules in terms of providing a direct link, so I won't, but the the thread is called:

KLU (Kontakt Library Utility) - Version 2

(and sorry if you already have, no insult intended!, but leaving for other members to be aware of as well... ;))

Fred Bloggs has made a fantastic utility that has been invaluable for all this, but I would absolutely recommend reading through the thread and his attached notes/FAQ's etc to insure full understanding to avoid any problems. :)

HCiSO usually provides the tools for this in their releases, but there is a chance it might not have the 'latest' version as things go (certainly not their fault!), but to add again, I think there is value in reading what other users and it's creator Fred Bloggs have to say on it as getting it right really helps going forward....
..grateful for HCiSO, HEXWARS, R2R, GUISEPPE , CASHMERE & ALL teams, AZ crew past and present, and friends I have met here . RIP and LOVE to Olymoon and his family. 8647.

I certainly don't have any problems with post topic related links to our forum - after all, they're listed on the homepage news feeds ;)

Ah, thank you @omiac ! I know that the rules on the sister forum prohibit linking to here, I just wasn't clear if that was transitive as a rule, I understand now how it isn't. ;).

Thank you for the clarification! (I just don't wanna go around breaking rules.. :))
