Thanks for your reply! So, I could get away with installing just some of the sounds? That would be wonderful. I just don't have the space for anything beyond 60-70 Gigs atm but wanted to give Superior Drummer a try.

You can install the Superior Drummer plugin and use EZ Drummer libraries.

For some reason, or instructions I have read in the past, I thought you had to have some SD library installed or whatnot PRIOR to plugin/standalone install, but I may be misremembering ... but it would be cool if it would just pick up on the fact you had some EZDrummer installs etc.... as right now, I just want to use one or two of those for something and don't need the full boat at the moment... (but of course will end up getting it and different libraries as what I do)...

Just gotten a load bigger from my SD2 days lol...

(but so have hard drives per $ (although not trending the way I like, but certainly cheaper and bigger then they were when I got SD2 in 2011 or 2012 or whatnot...))

Installed did not work, got this warning:
"The installed resources and the plug-in are not the same version!
Plug-in version 3.3.6
Version of resources: 3.37
Please reinstall Superior Drummer 3."
That has never happened to me before with an update.
Reinstalled the 3.3.6 update and it went back to working fine.
Any Ideas ???????????????

FIXED - I didn't update the VST3 file! Once I did that it was fine.

close your DAW, and restart, it looks like you're still loading the old one when you installed

This just happened to me as I only chose vst3 and au first time. I then installed again using the default installation (ie all versions) and it worked. Hope that helped

Finally, VST3 is working without Rossetta [Live 12]. I thought this was like the usual & supported only AU. But heck, this works with VST3. Thanks a lot guys!

Can I install this update/version without any previous Superior Drummer 3 installed?
Or do I need to download a legit SD3 demo, or a previous cracked SD3 version and install this update over it?
