Mongoose is a mid-side processor that sums all frequencies below a selectable crossover to mono, creating a mix that sounds natural in all environments.

Panning is one of our most powerful tools as mixing engineers, but due to the fact that we have to create our mixes for multiple environments (headphones, speakers, etc) we are bound by how we can pan our instruments while still sounding natural on all of these playback systems. Have you ever noticed that panning an instrument to one side sounds fine on loudspeakers but hurts your brain on headphones? This is because in real life, no sound goes into just one ear unless it’s coming from your ear (like headphones).

Mongoose fixes this problem by summing low frequencies to mono so that no matter how far you pan your instruments, they will sound equally natural on both headphones and speakers.

Mongoose—Just the Facts:
Sums low-frequencies to mono with adjustable crossover
Very low CPU impact
Focus and tighten low end while ensuring mix translation
Create contrast with high-frequency widening
Sculpt the width and depth of a mix
No phase issues when summing to mono

Take on Mongoose
Keep in mind that our job as mixers is essentially the same as that of a magician: to create a satisfying illusion in the mind of the audience. So while left and right is all we have in stereo, mono bass summing focuses the center image while creating the illusion of greater space in the stereo field, which in turn simplifies the mixing process. Mongoose makes it easy to achieve a focused and punchy center image with as much width on the sides as you like.

Keygen is generating same serial for Mongoose and TheWall. Can't register Mongoose with generated serial.

Make sure the keygen has Mongoose 2 available as an option

I have tried that before posting here. It's not just Mongoose, keygen generates identical serial (not the same as Mongoose and The Wall) for ProVacative and two other plugins which weren't released by R2R yesterday.

The keygen works the first time, and when you reload the plugin, it asks authorization info again and again.

So I suppos that the keygen is okay but the plugin can't locate the registration info when it's reloaded.

I found the reason.

First, Boz Digital plugins store their serial files in /Library/Application Support/Boz Digital/ech plugin folder.

But the keygen does generate a right serial number and do not save the serial text file to the right folder. There's no serial text file.

And when I made a new file named "serial.txt" and put the serial number in the file, it still won't open.

And when I tried to run the plugin with Rosetta2 on, all the problems are gone.

So I concluded the R2R Mongoose 2 keygen is for Intel Mac or Apple Silicon with Rosetta2.

Please don't get me wrong. All the other serials by the keygen are UBS. Only Mongoose 2 serial is a black sheep.

Wait a minute! When I return to the native mode, the Mongoose 2 runs natively.

So register the plugin in the Rosetta mode and run it natively.
