The Drop is an analog modelled resonant filter plug-in based on classic analog synth filters, as well as completely new designs. There is a huge level of detail in the models, which gives them amazing drive and tone, as well as smooth audio rate modulation behaviour. The original structure of the circuits is preserved in the model, as is the location and shape of all major non-linearities.

I get the "[File] is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin" error no matter what I try. Tried codesigning and it didn't work. Anyone has any idea how to solve this? Running on M1, Monterey.

did you have a previously installed version? Plugin Files in the usr/library/preferences Folder have to be deleted before it works. Delete all* previous installs using 'Find any File' - and reinstall.

Run terminal commands in this order:

sudo xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The Drop.component

sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The Drop.component

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The Drop.component

When I tried these commands, I received the following message:

xattr: No such file: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/The
xattr: No such file: Drop.component


yet I've confirmed the file path... any advice ?

instead of copying everything to the terminal, copy only:

sudo xattr -cr
sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -

and drag and drop the component after each command...it will find the right path

Here is what I did:
I changed the name of the component file to TheDrop.component (taking out the space between)
I then ran the code above that worked for clown, but changing the command so it wouldn't have any space
Worked perfectly after that, and then the R2R keygen is awesome
