It's 4.0.0 and it only installs AU (the VST and VST3 don't work) and it crashes Ableton M1s on Sonoma...

Pls check your updates before posting :)

could you explain the process? i'm a bit lost with this codesign thing... I replaced the plugins in the respective folders, and even run the keygen and get a xml file... not sure where to go from here

For anyone having trouble (so did I), here's what worked for me

After correctly installing / placing the plugins in the respective AU/VST/VST3 folders, open terminal and paste following commands:
xattr-cr[SPACE]+(DRAG AU/VST/VST3 HERE)
and
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -[SPACE]+(DRAG AU/VST/VST3 HERE)

Watch out for the spaces after the codes and when it's " - " or " -- " !

All working fine here, Sonoma M2. Thanks Team RET!

tested on Mojave. go to VST3 folder and search for ValhallaVintageVerb.vst3
right click > show package > open "MacOS" folder. your baby is there.
then open Terminal and type:
codesign --force --deep --sign -
and drag the baby. enter. have fun

Confusing install.

MacStudio M2 Max Sonoma 14.5, running VST plugins on the latest version of Cubase.

Tried that coding stuff, didn't work, keep getting "...damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash."

On top of that, deleted the install and tried to install a previous one that was working and now I get errors for that as well (((((
