Just start with iMovie and switch to Final Cut when you run into it's limits.

It has a bit of a learning curve ... once you fall in love with it you would avoid Premiere as much as you can... I guess it was build to inspire that 'rejection' of the competition.

Hello, just wondering if anyone with more technical knowledge can help.
I've seen alerts for ramsonware and cryptoware around cracked versions of Final Cut lately. Wondering if anyone knows if this version here is safe? Also can updates be done through App Store for this version?
