In my opinion. They are different things. For me Neural "Sounds better" in "Metal" music and all its genres. And this is more like a "Guitar Rig", "Amplitube" or even closer to THU, but with "more realism". It's like a more "real" improved version of these three.
So I'd say it's very good for rock, pop, melodic, etc. But Neural works better if you make "heavier" music.
That's my point of view.
If you only look at one side of the coin, you'll never truly know if it's a coin.

Every now and then someone will make a post without a step by step instructions expecting me to be a mind reader !
Not working for me ...mojave...intel

Entered the following
1.Block connections from IK Multimedia and authorize offline!
2. TONEX v1.0.2.dmg
3. Authorization_Manager_macOS_(1.0.27).dmg

Launched Logic / toneX ----MESSAGE---9 days trial---not authorized

then uninstalled toneX and related files... THEN repeated steps 1 & 2 out of curiosity....got the same message.

Uploader stressed to use keygen...but how?...Could not get/find a serial / request file within ToneX.

I guess ill get back the time wasted on this when daylight saving ends.

It should do it automatically. Had the same problem first as I had the legit demo (CS) version installed and authorized. Un'authorized thet with the IK product manager, uninstalled first and re-installed tonex to be sure and used r2r key. Working after that, no need to put files anywhere after ausing Authorixation manager.

Use an app (like Lulu) to block Authorization Manager and/or ik Product Manager from connecting to the internet.

Then install ToneX and Product Manager, run the windows based KeyGen not provided by the releaser (download here: https://audioz.download/software/win/220234-download_ik-multimedia-tonex-max-v102-incl-keygen-r2r.html) to authorise ToneX via Product Manager (offline mode).

Put these into your hosts file to block connecting to those.

To find the hosts file: in Finder menu choose: Go/Go to folder, and type /etc, then Go, from the window popping up find the Hosts file and copy that to ypur desktop. Put the above links after whats alread.y there. Save. Copy the file back to /etc folder.

I can use a pedal OR an amp but not the two in the same chain.

Why release a incomplete app? Just don't get it... Add all the files needed before compressing and uploading, jezz!

if you don't understand how to install something, how about just politely ask, hey can somebody help me figure this out, instead of angrily claiming it's a bad release and doesn't work? it works perfecly fine. problem is, it doesn't sound good whatsoever. sounds like guitar rig 2 or some ampsim from 10 years ago honestly

Installing is not the issue here, the missing stuff are!

I said it works and thanked him in the end.

All I said was If you release something make sure it is a complete release, not a half arse job. Thats all I said.

I need help please, I get the 9 days notice also after install and
running the Authorization_Manager_macOS_(1.0.27).
Tried restart did not help. Insulation was all done offline.
Mojave - Logic - Any help would be welcomed.

You need to download the KeyGen from the Windows Release (https://audioz.download/software/win/220234-download_ik-multimedia-tonex-max-v102-incl-keygen-r2r.html) and use it with the Authorization Manager from this Mac Release. The user failed to include the keygen on this release...

3. Open free standing TONEX {get no install ik splash screen at all}
4. Had IK Multimedia KeyGen v4.109.1 opened
5. Authorization_Manager_macOS_(1.0.27)
^. had no file to input into KeyGen and TONEX was not asking for one???
I am stumped ?????????

I got it to work with the MixBox ik_product_manager_1.0.4
I had to repeat it all 4 times then it worked. Thanks for your help.
