audioutopia release from 6 years ago, version 12.5 i believe. and that release is windows only. in other words, the aax is useless on mac cracks in general.
However i may be wrong, i'm not a pro tools user.

well yeah.. unless you already purchased a perpetual pro tools license, i would recommend considering logic pro. it is very similar to pro tools and it can run cracked plugins in non-aax formats

Most people switch from Pro Tools to Studio One or Reaper.... Logic has TERRIBLE CPU optimization and lacks features. Studio One has pretty much everything Pro Tools has plus better CPU optimization. And Reaper has the best CPU optimization so it can handle bigger projects and more plugins...

Do you have actual benchmarks to substantiate this claim? Apple with its deep pockets must be that dumb not to optimize Logic to the max. Mind you - the same Emagic inventors of the original Logic code still work at Apple - plus expats from Opcode (if you are old enough to remember Vision)

I started out on Studio Vision Pro and the very first ProTools 440 system. Back when ProTools used two apps Edit & Deck. Those were some crazy days. I'll never forget the first time I heard my voice coming out of my Tanoy PBM 8s through that four channel ProTools interface.
And I really miss that bouncing ball in studioVision Pro.That damn Gibson Guitar company!
