Ah, I spoke too soon. Standalone works fine but AU won't pass the DAW scan. Permissions Reset didn't work. M1 Mac mini Big Sur

I have a problem. In legit Cubase it´s seem like a 32 bits plugin and I can not open it.
Any solution? thanks.

Standalone works great. But Cubase is sending it to Blacklist in vst format.

For someone still utilizing FL Studio through Rosetta on an M1 MacBook, should I use this M1 version, or the normal Mac Version?
  Member 20.12.2016 1 58

Probably the Intel version since your plug-in host is also Intel.

I'm thinking so too. I grabbed both just in case. S0 I'll have the newest versions 3.2.7 for Mac, M1 and Windows.
I also grabbed the Library Update 1.2.0 (Which I think I'm supposed to install after grabbing the Core Library/Factory Content).
Going to grab the Core Library and just the Factory Content #1 then install the Library Update to get the presets and whatever the update does.

Hoping it isn't too complicated having the libraries on an external drive, as they are pretty massive. Also hoping the libraries can be shared between Windows and Mac utilizing the same libraries on the external.

Yes, it's the same library files for Win and Mac. So the sharing shouldn't be a problem.

Appreciate the replies...
And it's still required to download the Library Update 1.2.0 from 2020?
  Member 20.12.2016 1 58

No idea, I‘d just get the latest library update and see if it works. I don’t think the library updates are necessary, I think mostly fix little stuff in the samples.

Does anyone have problems with Cubase 11? Standalone works perfectly but vst is listed in blacklist as 32 bits plugin and impossible to use.
Any solution??

I am in M1 Monterey, Ableton Live.
AU couldn’t be loaded and are disabled, then I try it in Logic Pro, same result.
VST just not showing in Ableton Live.
Why you guys can run it perfectly?
I need some help please !!!

Looks like Ableton Live itself can’t run ARM native yet, so it’s no surprise that this „ARM only“ version doesn’t work. Do you run Logic in Rosetta mode? Because that probably won’t work either.
Does the SD3 Stand Alone app work?

I run Logic in native mode, Plugin Manager show me this.

until I Terminal it.
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Toontrack/Superior\ Drummer\ 3.app
then stand alone app working fine, version show me it is "64-bit ARM VST".

The standalone version works after codesign. Native Logic works, but Rosetta model doesn't, which is a bit of a problem since Rosetta is needed for most of my plugs. Not sure if there is any workaround other than reverting back. If every ARM plugin is going to fail in Rosetta mode, that's a big problem.

edit: I copied the prior CE ver of 3.2.7 .component with a different name into components. Then started Logic in Rosetta and it loaded. Not sure if that had anything to do with the renamed extra Superior file, or just a fluke. But I did codesign the installed component as well.

VST won't load in Live or Komplete Kontrol though. Put old working VST back and then Standalone no longer works.

This release specifically says „ ONLY for Apple M1-based computers!“ = ARM only.

Of course this won’t work in Rosetta mode or non native DAWs/plugin hosts.

Anyone managed to get grooves tab working and midi? Wont the app to midi files and it says it can't see them. Bar that works fine in standalone and vst but useless without grooves and midi :(
