Crashing LPX. Mojave

probably remnants from your previous install? I had the same problem. uninstalled and the searched and removed all scaler files from library/ . reinstalled, replaced files, still crashing. codesigned all 3 components and it is now working.

The custom installer shows the plugins as "upgrade", because it is finding files left by prior install? it fixed it.

by any chance could you copy paste the code sign command?
  Member 28.01.2021 101

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - and then drag the plug-in into the terminal

Everything working now. I'm on Mojave

Nice upload, recommend supporting the developer, extremely cheap, especially on Black Friday.
One of the most useful plugins around in my opinion.

Cannot get VST or VST3 to show up in Ableton. Tried code signing and Sudo commands. Any thoughts?

I've tried to codesign the .Component item, but it gives me this answer: error: "The specified item could not be found in the keychain".

Any thoughts?

Found the solution that worked for me:

Type sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - [SPACE] Root [SPACE] then pres enter

a good solution is to use Codesigner app. Then you never have issues with syntax errors/typos in terminal. it always works.

I've searched high and low for it but can't find it anywhere sadly can you help?

If you have an M1 Mac + Big Sur then you need Codesigner 0.9.4, released a year ago - BUT - even the official dev site doesn't have it available to download for some bizarre reason. So just do this;

1: Open Terminal and copy/paste the following;
2: sudo Xattr -cr /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Scaler2.component
3. Enter > Mac password

Then;
4: sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Scaler2.component
5. Enter > Mac password

Then do the same sequence above for;
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ScalerAudio2.component
AND
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ScalerControl2.component

In Logic you'll need to open Plug-in Manager, scroll down and select Scaler 2, then click "Reset & Rescan selection" one at a time, for each of the Scaler 2 plugins listed.
Done.

On Mojave LPX v10.4.8 only these lines in terminal makes it Works by me.
(I did One after the other, but apparently allow them all together )

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ScalerControl2.component

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Scaler2.component

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ScalerAudio2.component
