HIKU Mastering Plugin
Punch, Warmth and Presence, instantly

Give your masters, buses or individual tracks extra polish with this smart effect. HIKU might only have three controls, but under the hood, there’s a precise mix of processing tailored to add warmth, power and clarity to any audio signal.

As well as sounding great on single tracks or groups, HIKU is a vital stage in any mastering chain.

HIKU’s processing is split into two bands. You can control the frequency of this split using the frequency dial. Both the low and high bands are processed using saturation for crunch and character, parallel processing for punch and control, and stereo imaging for definition. The algorithms on each side of the frequency split are tailored towards the different processing needs of low-frequency and high-frequency audio.

The central Mix parameter dials in the amount of HIKU’s effect that’s applied to the signal. Set it to low levels to subtly cook the audio, and push it to higher levels to bring life back into stale sounds.

You can raise the end-to-end crossover frequency dial to 20,000Hz to get HIKU’s low processing over the entire signal, or lower it to 20Hz to get HIKU’s high processing on a whole channel.

Use the top-left gain control to compensate for any level changes introduced by HIKU, and bypass the plugin to audition the signal before and after processing.

sorry but how do I use the zip key file?

Extract the key folder to "Library\Application Support\"

*Note: since the folder is starting with a period (.) it is normally hidden.
but, if you tried extracting it, the extracted files are still there where you extracted. It's just hidden.

enable view hidden files option if any available n mac (i don't about mac) or use a 3-rd party file manager to view those files even those are hidden.

Or simply, copy and paste the key_file.zip to "Library\Application Support\" and extract it there.

Have fun
Happy producing

If it was an extraction error then check your archiver.(try reinstall or update it)
I don't know much about mac.

Just install any archivers like or an alternative to rar or 7zip and then try again.

I think the key file is empty...

inside is a hidden folder (starts with a "dot" on mac) which contains two hidden files.
So just copy the zip file to Library\Application Support\ and unzip it there

Key zip still isn't working for me.

Tried unzipping it on desktop, tried in Library/Application Support, tried in Library/Application Support/Soundspot.

No good in any location.

Ah, I figured it out.

Unzip with Pacifist, and it actually shows the folder that you need to drag or copy into Library/Application Support.

after unzipping with Pacifist the folder was hidden right? Do you drag the hidden folder or remove the (.) dot and drag it to Library/Application Support?

Or do I drag the contents of the folder to Library/Application Support?

Please help all my Soundspot apps already expired. =(
