So the Ableton Live 9 Suite.app in the 32 & 64 folder is the install app?
Seems like this is the execution app for the programm not for the installation?!

Seriously, did they change the installation process?
When i unzipped there is only the 32 & 64 folder with the app in it.

Sorry for the noobish question, but my last update was some time ago, and back there there was the install file with the auz file to register.

Had the same problem.
To fix it :
right click on the "Ableton Live 9 suite" app and chose "Show Package Contents".
Go to Contents/MacOs

Open terminal write "chmod a+x " (without the quotes) and drag the Live icon found in Contents/MacOs to the terminal window. Press return, your file is now executable and it will now open.

Worked for me.

Doesn't work for me either .. I dont get it.
The other 9.7.2 Release (Multilingual macOS) has a normal Install file with the auth key and some terminal commands packed .. since when did R2R change this?
Also tried to reset the app with Batchmod, or am I missing the install file in this release? There are only the execution apps in there.

these r2r versions make you do a little more work than the old crack but allow you to use all the packs, I used keygen app (dada) for the keygen and also the terminal fix (batchmod does not work this time),i am on mountain Lion.

installed it, but it won't recognize my vst folder. neither did the other release just posted. i went in and tried to rescan the plugins folders and got a weird error. went back to 9.7.1. oh well.

Batchmod worked for me,

unpacked with keka, copy app to programm folder, apply Batchmod permission reset, open keygen with Keygen APP, enter hardwarecode - generate serial, doubleclick authorize file.

I Tried everything said here, but it says that "the authorisation is invalid on this computer".
Is there any way around it?

Worked for me here now, copied the App and then resetted with BatChmod.
WinOnX -> opened Keygen -> Done.

Thanks a tonne, though just having an issue regarding the library setup in 9.7.2

When dragging or (add folder)'ing my sample folder into the 'Places' Tab, I see nothing contained within. There is normally a pretty extensive list of sub-folders and samples, but at this point (even after waiting 15 minutes for anything to perhaps load), there is nothing.

My Core Library is also only showing in the 'Packs' section, with none of its contents being found in the category section.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Newbie Question - can I download this and use it to update my former version of ableton (9.6.2)?
If yes - will all my former projects and vsts still be able to run smoothly?

this version takes a little extra processing power than 9.6.2,
also it is a different way that it is cracked,so you will need to remove all trace of the old version.

it will run your old projects if you back them up onto a usb stick and then load em in on it:)
