AK-476 - The legendary FET compression.

Based on arguably the most famous compressor/limiter in history. AK-476 is the perfect tool for vocals, drums, bass guitars, and any track where you need reliable, fast dynamic control.
Able to tame the fastest transients, as well as accentuating the instant smack of your snare. External sidechain gives you even more flexibility, while dual-mono feature gives you more control over your bus. There's a reason why it's a classic.

Key features
- Wide range of release times.
- Fast attack time.
- Dual-mono mode.

if every compressor is the perfect tool for vocals, bass, drums, keys, or anything else, i guess none of them are lol. does anyone wish software marketers would stop using the same buzzwords? hope someone starts a comparison thread for ppl to definitively chime in on equivalent products/hardware emulations and how they stack up against one another. esp for those like me with minimal hardware experience. its hard knowing where to "anchor" my ears in order to assess the proper the sound signature of each of these emulations. and the increasingly homogenous plugin descriptions aren't making it easier to filter out bias/placebo. anyways to my aural superiors, any reason to go for Aurora over UAD 1176 (purely sound quality wise lol, lots of reasons to avoid UAD) or say Overloud's COMP76? Lately i've been gravitating to Overloud and Fuse audio for analog emulation FX. would love to know anyone's thoughts. or if there's already a thread somewhere this is happening. either way hope everyone's enjoying the summer, bless yalllll thx moria
