Ive been having problems installing TCD releases lately on Windows 11 24H2. They all error with "out of memory" or "unable to copy file". I found a work around though in case other people experience it. The setup needs to be extracted with Inno Extractor. You can then recompile the setup from the ISS file with Inno Setup Compiler and build a new setup. The result is a much larger setup file but works. So yes there's something wrong with the compression TCD is using but Im no expert on these things. Surely my 32GB ram is enough? Be nice if someone from the team could look into this. Thx

Thanks, I will do more tests. I was only asking for help. Other group installers work fine without a hitch I might add but yawn for the record...

I dont know why they got so narked about it. Almost calling me a troll lol. I just told it as it is for me and investigating the problem. I did not once disrespect TCD like they are doing to me. I even asked for help on another of their release and didnt get any help back. Stay cool and "rock on" TCD and dont be so overly sensitive to your fans (me).

what the hell is inno extractor and WHERE the hell DID YOU READ in TCD's NFO that it is needed for installing their releases??

Most likely you have an OLD version of inno-extract. Inno-extract is not "needed" for any of these releases... The releases work just fine by themselves and install ALL plugins satisfactorily.

The only case for using Inno-Extract is to pick single VST's out of the installer package. Tried the new inno-extract tool on this package and it works fine...
