Serum's now legendary Wavetable Oscillator has been refined with additional flexibility. Smooth Interpolation mode allows for near-infinite frame positions in the wavetable (no morph needed). There is filtering, FM, PD, ring mod, distortions and new wavetable warps. Even we have yet to fully explore the outer reaches of what can be achieved by the dual warps available for any of the main oscillator types.

If you're one of those people for whom the standalone app had stopped working -- apparently, there was a vulnerability in one of the Microsoft C++ libraries that it needed to work and so one of the Microsoft updates had broken it. Downloading an updated version of that library fixed it for me.

I didn't. I just downloaded and installed the new one over the top of what was there. I didn't figure this out myself. It's not an Xfer standalone app -- it's really just a copy of Savihost. I was attempting to find a different vst host that would work and there's an explanation of how it's broken (and how to fix it) on the Savihost website..

It must have broken fairly recently because the copy that came with the first release of Serum 2 worked fine for me. But when I installed 2.0.17 it was dead as a doornail.
