how do you know? Got missing sound or some kind of error? Any system messages? When you describe the issues please be more precise so the guys here could help you and the others. Would be nice if you provided the info about your system (OS version and CPU type) Thanks.

Apologies for not being clearer John, just to clarify, I cannot extract the library file with either Unarchiver or Keka. I get the message "The archive file is incomplete" on Unarchiver.

...weird...Looks like incomplete download or some antivirus software could damage the file. I have the same setup as your's and got it installed no problem.

Ample Bass J ABJ is the only recent library of the x6 (v4) libraries that is not identical comparing them to v3 (r2r)
2 x Library Files reported as not being identical
ABJPk-17.ascf (same size but is more recent) 22,716kb
ABJPk_DBConfig (different size but is more recent) 1,177kb (newer) vs 1,147kb (older v3 r2r)

Thanks for the info!

Does this mean that with the updated sample library we won't be able to use 4.0.1 with the previous R2R activation? The other 4.0.1s work without problems installed on the previous R2R version, but they are 100% the same sample libraries as the fresh ones.

Edit: I ended up doing the same thing as the other updates (P, Ray5) and only updated the plugin - everything seems to work. (I don't know if the two different files that samsum mentioned affect anything, we'll see. :))

I've been using (r2r) Activation Manager for all the recent 5 or 6 Ample releases using the [Offline] tab along with r2r keygen... I think it is only the Ample VST plugin that needs reactivating, not the Libraries

Ample Bass to v4.01:
Ample Sound updated Ample Bass to v4.01, covering 8 bass virtual instruments: ABP, ABJ, ABJF, ABY, ABTR6, AMR, ABU, and ABA.

Bugs fixed:
Fixed audio crackling issues when buffer size is set to 256 or lower.
Fixed host sync issues in the Tab Reader.
Fixed tuning file problems across different instruments.
Fixed a bug related to Round Robin sample cycling.
Fixed root note errors in the Dice (random generator) feature of the Riffer.
Fixed an issue where, after closing and reopening the UI with the Chord Wheel enabled in the Riffer, the selected chord block could no longer be deleted.
