I always wondered what you're supposed to do with the awful, noisy, dial-up internet sounding vocal track once it's been removed from the music. I guess having the instrumental is the point? What if you want to repurpose the vocals? They are never useable.

newer models are cleaner now... not studio quality, but enough...
me personally separate elements of songs to analyze rhythm and harmonic of them... its easier this way...

for vocals and instrumentals, just get UVR5 and the rofomer models (becruily, unwakim).

for seperating / isolating guitars, try dango ai, but it's behind a paywall.

Yes, it's way better. UVR has stem splitter as well that gives you 4 stems. I've had very good results with it. Better than all the others I've tried, and I've basically tried all of them.

indeed and there are newer models, for different stems. i dont recall the names atm, but there have been new models released this year.

the only part where models for uvr5 are lackin is the guitar/acousticguitar bit. dangoAI is by far the best atm.

I installed the UVR5 package and within the settings (WRENCH icon at lower left), the 3rd tab is "Download Center".
There are many to choose from for each of the 3 types (VR Arch, MDX-Net, & Demucs).
I have no idea about all the different models for each, so I need to learn some stuff.

Rofomer models (becruily, unwakim) can't be downloaded within the UVR5 app yet - they are still in beta. You have to do it manually, go to the UVR5 page and read more.

It's a nightmare to understand.
UVR5 Roformer is a beta package, that I isntalled, but I still cannot find any becruily, unwakim in there (or downwnlaodable).
Also downloadning all the packages takes a lot of time, it would be nice a big cumulative patch with everything.

I just gave this a try out of curiosity. It is simply horrible. This is Ai vocal remover when it just started. Don't waste your time with this. Get UVR5.
