APU Software APU Loudness Compressor v3.4.6 (Win/macOS) screenshotP2P/BTCR | Date: 2025.3 | Size: 57.5 MB
The APU Loudness Compressor is a compressor/expander designed to support modern loudness types (LUFS, True Peak). This means the compression curve is a function of LUFS measurements instead of RMS or Peak. Since LUFS is a more accurate measure of loudness, the result is very transparent compression, making it particularly well suited for mastering and post-production workflows.

By default, the compressor operates using a “source range” and “target range” in place of threshold + ratio controls. You can also enable the traditional threshold + ratio controls if you prefer. A drop-down menu located at the top-right of the compressor’s dynamics section allows switching between these modes of operation and others, such as expander, limiter, etc.

With “learn” mode enabled, the compressor will automatically adjust the source or target range to match the source material. This can be a great way to get started with the compressor and can be used as a starting point for further fine-tuning.

Check it out to see if it fits into your workflow. If you have any questions or feedback, don’t hesitate to reach out using the “Contact the Developer” beacon on this website.

Rating abuse - downvoting a post or comment for personal reasons or beliefs, that don't relate to the actual subject of your rating.
- This is what you will get banned for.

*If there is a technical issue with a release, which is precisely what the downvote function is there for, comment about it so the team/releaser can fix it and other members know to wait on downloading.

If however you're downvoting because you think the content for whatever reason isn't good (personal opinion), then you're breaking Audioz rules and will receive, at the very least, a lengthy comment freeze.

IMO, the issue isn’t that the developer updates his software - frequent updates are great! The problem lies in how he does it - releasing every tiny change as a separate new version, which is frankly excessive.

A great example of a better approach is Thimeo and the way he updates Stereo Tool. Instead of pushing out small updates one by one, he works on multiple improvements over time and then releases a single update packed with significant changes. Just take a look at the changelogs on thimeo.com - each release includes a huge list of enhancements.

This developer, however, does the exact opposite, which goes against what should be standard best practices.
