Open the .dmg and drag the installers out, then codesign the installers - I used Permissions Reset and it worked.

Updating the standalone doesn't seem to work correctly. After successfully running the installer, the app says it's 1.3 in Get Info pane in macOS, but when you open the app, it still says it's 1.2.0. Haven't tested the plugin yet.

Same here, with an Intel Mac Mini. Seems to be that the standalone installation is not working. AU and VST is fine.

Spread the Word
