I just understood the problem, the version that I recovered by going through the first link "download from free file storage pipelink" is a Kontakt 8.1 version and not an 8 2.1 it is not the right version..

Hi Chris, the last Portable also had the same issue with some of the links being the old version but can confirm from Rapidgator mine is version 8.2.1 in the File>Help > About Kontakt and also in Windows showing 8.2.1 too

Did you only get 8.1?

I have not download this release, but I presume same thing happened this time as last release (8.2). If you check the files from PEEP, you will see that one file is 1.3GB, and the other(s) is 1.24GB.

One of these (1.3 or 1.24, not sure since I have not tried myself) will be 8.2.1.
If I´m right...

I love this Kontakt Portable version, but since v.8.20 I'm having some issues :
In WIN 10 everything works fine.
In WIN 11 Standalone OK, but VST3 64 works fine in Cocos Reaper, but wrong in Cubase 14... it don't load and shows an alert telling something about .dll

You have to click the "manage Libraries" button. Then you can use the manager to scan your folders to detect automatically the libraries and/or you can add them manually (dragging the folders into the library manager folder list).
