Can you explain us for what exactly is the Rev2 version? What it fixes/changes?

I already have the release and i really have no mood to waste 3-4 hours on Catfile for nothing... unless it is something important!

Please let us know.

what I hate about all v8 :-

1- it's not To-Go-Sampler anymore !! there must be an extra work each time you open it !!

2- It's Slower than the Beast v6 specially v6.5.1 !! as I almost Tried all these versions on Same 3 PC's !!

3- All v8 Libraries won't work on Older v7 or v6 !! & also Older Libraries loads Slower in Newer versions !!

So, Maybe back to v6 (latest is v6.8.1 as I guess!) may be the best way till they figure it out
as If we remembers when NI made it for 4k screens since 3 or 4 yrs and we stuck because of our monitors for an Audio Plugin !!

Yet,
I will download this , keep testing newer releases

Well I have tried 8.* 3 times already and removed them all and gone back to 7.8 which works. I now have 7.8 running well. I guess I should grab this and eventually try it, but it always takes 2 hrs per try . I try , remove and then backtrack. Not sure why all of the BS that is part of this and not part of earlier versions...... I guess it's a good thing, I have a working version to fall back on.

Perhaps native instruments has some trouble with certain chipsets..u wrote you always have problems since version 8...on my system it works just fine...so yeah..i dont know why some configurations dont work too well.

Install failed due to a path being too long, and 2nd attempt fails due to: no previous install found.
So, the failed install apparently does not roll back the changes properly.

I'm still using Rev1 with no issues, but I am getting crashes with Komplete Kontrol v2.9.6 and some of the latest libraries. I only have a Mk1 KK keyboard, which isn't supported by the latest KK software.

I downloaded version 8.2.0 from Bob's site and everything works perfectly in standalone in VSTi and in Komplte Kontrol 2.9.4.

KK 2.9.6 crashes in standalone for me after loading the Claire Avant library. I reinstalled KK and it still crashes. The Kontakt software is working for me, though.

Uninstalled 8.1 Bobdule, then installed this one, there's a loaaadz of folders / files missing in:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt 8

Dunno if it's me... or the ghost of my grandma?
